Thank goodness it’s the weekend. Just planning to rest, stay warm and hydrated. I ordered an online shop which included stuff for a roast on NY day if I feel up to cooking one. Total spend £29.63. Should have enough food in for a week. Feeling utterly washed out and fed up of this lurgy. Have just fed the dog and have a cup of tea back in bed, ready for another snooze 😴0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

My boyfriend has had similar lurgy since end of November. Feels really washed out and cant shake cough off. He’s done loads of Covid tests, but all negative. Seems everyone has got something at mo.2

I spoke and messaged with family yesterday and was in bed by 10.30! Feel a bit brighter this morning. Have fed the dog and am back in bed with a cup of tea.Have just been doing a round up of savings and sale proceeds. I must move some into savings with a different bank in the new year. I am having a lie in today and plan on relaxing and enjoying the last day of the holidays despite still having this awful cough. Puppy dog is still snoozing so I will walk her a bit later.Yesterday I roasted the beef I bought on offer half price from Mr T with potatoes and parsnips. DS was home so we had some with carrots, broccoli and sprouts. There is enough leftovers to freeze for 2 more meals. DS’s gf was away working. We didn’t put up xmas decs so just cards to take down and recycle today. I am still living surrounded by boxes so I am going to speak to my solicitor later this week and see if we can exchange and complete by end of January. Once I have moved I am thinking of starting a new diary to keep track of spending and savings. Just hoping it all completes quickly and smoothly 🤞0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Well done on eating so well. I had a very similar lurgy and have passed it onto Andy!!! Everyone locally seems to have it! Just when you think the runny nose, persistent cough stops you get a dodgy tummy. I hope you are feeling better i am living on crackers!
Well done on your journey and seeing your dad, family and new place. I think you are doing sooooo well. A new diary is a good idea so chuffed that house move is going to be soon.Aiming for a minimal spend 20221 -
Thanks SW. Sorry to hear you have been so poorly. Thankfully I don’t have the stomach bug. Just headache / sinus pain and chesty cough. I managed a quick walk with the dog this morning but am now dosed up & wearing my wooly hat and staying in. I don’t feel up to getting ready and going to work but should be ok working from home.Yesterday the weather was lovely. The heating was off and DS was in the garden with the doors open. Had a bit of a tidy in the kitchen and hoovered the dry mud off the carpet in the hall. I take my wellies off at the door but it still gets muddy. Spent the rest of the day / evening relaxing and watching tv and snoozing.I need to go to the chemist after work today and pick up meds. Thankfully they are free and it’s only 5 mins walk at the end of my road.I need to go shopping but I think it can wait until Friday when I am on a late shift. I have taken some cubed beef out of the freezer to defrost & will make a stew in the slow cooker tomorrow to use up carrots and swede. I have 2 portions of batch cooked chilli in the freezer made before Christmas and one portion of cooked beef from NYD which I might turn into a curry.0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Hope you feel better soon.
I'd recommend the FD current account with their 7% RS, you get £20 after 4m just for opening the CA.
Food is good as always.

Today has been a bit of a struggle. I wore my wooly hat all day which seems to help with the headache/ sinus pain. My boss has agreed I can work from home all week and I have cancelled my diabetic eye test which would have been Friday morning and I would have had to take taxis due to the eye drops.I ordered a top up shop for delivery. Even though I managed to pick up my meds and give the dog a quick walk it’s been raining all day and I just couldn’t summon up the energy to go shopping. So I now have hot choc (on offer) for when I fancy a warm drink, apple and elderflower squash or cans of max Pepsi if I fancy a cold drink. Plus a tub of ice cream to soothe my sore throat. Crumpets for breakfast, sliced loaf in the freezer and baking potatoes for lunch or dinner and a packet of biscuits. That should keep me going until Friday, £20.82 including delivery.0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗
