  • If you were going to retire when moving I'd say sick leave, then a nicely timed sick note after calculating pro rata holiday entitlement 🤭

You'll get there with packing, especially when a few steps closer to it going through.

    Good luck with the MOT.

  • Had a bad night tossing and turning and a banging headache.  Walked the dog this morning before the rain. Managed to get to the office before the monsoon started!

Called off on the way to work for petrol £20. Went to b & m on the way home for kitchen roll and spent £16.07. 🤦‍♀️ Bought kitchen roll, loo rolls, biscuits, cheese, curry mugshots, Pepsi max 8 cans £3.20 (was £5 in coop so I didn’t get any the other day).

Got home & felt exhausted but I took the dog out for a walk before it rains again. It was nice to get some fresh air.

Will be relaxing this evening, feet up watching tv.

  • Hope you're feeling better today.
Shopping was productive and some nice pick me ups slipped in 😊

  • Another full day in the office followed by a freezing evening dog walk. At least it wasn’t raining. I remembered to take in the jar of coffee from lidll. I already had sweetner and powdered milk. Next time I will try and remember a spoon!

Didn’t have any energy to clean the car ready for it’s mot or check the oil, water and tyre pressure. I will just take a plastic bag out tomorrow to empty the junk and hope for the best with the rest.

I have booked in for a dental appointment before xmas. I also need to book a hair appointment. It has got so long I have hacked off my fringe. I think I look like a crazy mad lady 🤪

  • Put the spoon in your bag when you're home.

The garage won't mind, just bag and boot it. Book the hairdresser as a relaxing treat after work.

    Temperatures are definitely getting lower.

  • My car passed it’s mot 🥳

Wet dog walk again this morning. Then it stopped raining about 8am so I drove to the garage and walked home. Picked the car up again after work and then felt shattered so I had a snooze on the sofa 😴

Had a naughty kfc delivered for dinner £12. 😋

  • It’s actually quite mild and dry this morning but it looks like rain later. Have walked the dog and it was good to get on the field so she could run around and play with her ball.

Just having cereal and a hot chocolate before starting work at home. It’s so much less stressful when I don’t have to get ready and leave to drive to the office at 8am.

Tomorrow I will go shopping in the morning before working later. I need to make a shopping list. I think I will make a chicken stew and a beef curry in the slow cooker over the weekend.

  • Great news about the car!

Totally agree it's easier WaH than getting everything ready, commuting and going in. Not much longer now for you.

Stew and curries will be nice.

  • Have walked the dog this morning it is a lovely sunny autumn day.

Just having a hot chocolate then will be getting ready and going shopping. I am taking my no-dogs friend too, as she doesn’t drive it means she can get a big shop. Work later so I will just get something quick to cook for dinner tonight after work. Maybe a pizza.

  • Had a bright and sunny walk with the dog this morning. Now the sky has turned grey so we might have some rain.

I’m just finishing my hot chocolate and the dog is snoring in her chair 😆

Shopping yesterday came to £38.60. I am going to make a chicken casserole in the slow cooker today. I have half a swede in the fridge and bought some saver carrots 24p and some button mushrooms and onions.

Tomorrow I will make a beef curry in the slow cooker with peppers, onions, chickpeas and last of the butternut squash. I have some spinach left too so if it’s not too slimy I will bung that in too.
