It's not looking good for your surveyor.
Hope your pain is settling, the drink and food sound good.

Sorry to hear you are in pain.
Perhaps it is time to see the time frame the other surveyors can do?
I know this one was much cheaper but maybe not so reliable?
Hope you get it sorted soon.

I hope the surveyor pulls their socks up fast. Well done on going out.

  • Lovely morning here. Sunny and blue sky with a few white clouds and a lovely cool breeze. Have been out with the dog for a walk and feel much better.

I have emailed the surveyor & asked him to contact me on Monday. If I haven’t heard by the time I finish work I will book the other one I spoke to last week.

Two dog walks yesterday and I went for a walk with my no-dogs friend in the evening. Today I am going to sort out the kitchen cupboards and pack a few things  away. They are so full things keep falling out and we don’t need two or more of everything. Then I am going out for tea & cake later with a friend. 😊

  • Two loads of washing hung out and line dried. Sorted through all kitchen cupboards and placed most of the stuff I am taking with me into the living room. Used my kneeling cushion but felt exhausted after & fell asleep on the sofa.

My friend rang me at 4pm & woke me up. I wasn’t feeling well enough to go out for cake. Have just walked the dog again & feeling better now. I am going into town tomorrow to get some boxes for packing. I have still to sort out glassware, cutlery & plates etc.

I got a letter from the solicitor about stamp duty £2466 but they have made a mistake on the form and put my address as the address of the previous house I was buying so I will have to ring them on Monday morning. The cover letter was to my correct address so hopefully it’s a one off mistake.

There's usually a couple of sections to update on case management systems, which is probably why the old address was quoted.

Hope you're feeling more rested today.

  • Had a lovely dog walk again this morning. Washing is just finishing to be hung out. I have some sweet chilli chipolatas cooking in the oven plus hash browns from the freezer. I will have as some with a fried egg for breakfast. The rest of the sausages will be cut up and frozen in portions to take to work for lunches.

I am going to drive into town today. I will park just outside the town centre where it is free and a short walk to the shops. I want to look in primarni for pj shorts and I need to get some boxes for packing.

  • Have just had an email from the surveyor he has apologised & says he’s been away & sporadic phone & internet connection but will get the survey booked in asap.

It’s pouring with rain now. Hopefully it will brighten up later and then I will pop into town.
