I don't understand why companies think that's a productive use of time, whereas an hour or two of training would speed things up.

Catch up has lifted your spirits a bit.

Don't over do it this weekend, it's not good to keep pushing a fragile body.
Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.
  • Walked the dog while it was lovely and cool earlier. Sorted some spare wire mesh from the shed and dropped it off at my friends house nearby. Her dog keeps escaping their garden & it’s one less thing in my shed. It’s been in there for years & no longer needed.

Walked from there to the local shops & got an exam card for my nephew £1.40 but no stamps at any of the shops! Will have to post it once the post office opens again on Tuesday. The sun is out now and it’s hot already. One load of washing just finishing in the machine and will be hung outside. Depending on how quickly it dries I may get another load done and dried.

Planning to eat from stores this weekend. Am just going to potter  and relax for the rest of the day. Agree with you MF not going to overdo it. 😁

  • Nice dog walk this morning. Very autumnal now with leaves falling & the grass is a bit greener after the rain last week.

Fancied a fry up for breakfast so I found a small piece of gammon in the freezer and defrosted then cooked with hash browns (cook from frozen) plus fried egg, baked beans & tinned toms. 😋

I also defrosted some mince beef & chucked it in the slow cooker with an onion, chopped up butternut squash, red pepper and the rest of the tin of toms & some chilli powder. A bit later I will add the rest of the tin of baked beans & kidney beans from the freezer.

A potter and a relax sounds just the ticket.
