If you could see yourself in the first one, ask the EA to contact you if it comes back on to the market.

The sink boiler is just to get hot water to the kitchen sink. If you were interested, offer about £30k under to leave money for repairs. I would walk away - old and needing love is fine, bodges could cost more than you have available and take ages to get fixed.

Shopping and pub visit is great for a weekend.

Thanks MF. Estate agent has already said they will get back to me if anything changes on the expensive house. (£260k)

I have paid £6 for the title deeds / plan on the land registry website for the cheap property (£220k) built in the 1980’s and a parking space is shown, but it’s not the same parking space the estate agent told me belonged to the property. I think I will walk away. The thought of having £20 - £30k left was attractive but I can see it would need money spent on it and the estate agent couldn’t find the boiler for the “gas central heating” advertised.

The mid-priced property on at my budget £250k is set for the viewing day next weekend. It is near to the property I lost mid-sale. I will also see if anything else comes on the market this week.

It’s a cool morning. The dog has been fed & is snoozing. I’ve had a cup of tea and am going to try and go back to sleep for an hour.

    Plans for today
    - walk the dog
    - tidy my bedroom
    - tidy shoe mountain downstairs - shred / chuck pile of receipts
    - sorts through meds boxes pile in my room to recycling
    - stick a label on my old microwave saying “scrap” and put it out on the front forecourt wall, hopefully the scrap man will take it and save me a trip to the tip.

Sunny & breezy here today with a few raindrops on & off but not really raining. Not enough to wet anything. I have walked the dog and hung out some washing hopefully it will dry.

I did all the jobs on my list yesterday apart from shredding. I’m just about to start work at home today. I have a day off later this week to go out for the day for my friends birthday. Just waiting for the forecast to decide where to go.

You've made the right decision about that house. The right one will pop up.

Well done for doing your list, shredding can be done this week.

I've had all your rain 🤭

Had a lovely day out yesterday with my no-dogs friend for her birthday.

Put £30 petrol in the car. 188.9. Went to a lovely coastal cottage pub for lunch for 2 cost £28. Then we hit the shops. 😊 We went to various shopping centres and I did have a spendy day. Peacox half price handbag £6, half price sandals £6. Mat Alan half price work bag £7, 2 cardies £12 each and a top £10, next had a lovely unusual top £18. As da new pillows 2 for £12 and 2 new non-stick baking trays £3 each with 10 year guarantee.

Popped into co op on the way home for milk and got reduced to clear sausage and mash and chicken and bacon hotpot both reduced from £3.50 to £1.35. Also got lamb steaks reduced from £5.75 to £2.75. All now in the freezer.

I will need to drive to work today and next week so I will need to top up the car again before I go away to see family.

I have had a lie in today 🤗 puppy dog has gone away for the weekend with DS and his gf.

Today I am viewing a couple of properties. My no-dogs friend is coming with me. One of them is really promising on paper at £240k. If it’s as good as it looks I am thinking of an initial offer of £246k & no chain/ flexible completion date. The other I am not so sure about but the photos may not do it justice £250k. Max cash purchase with all my savings £255k (except amount put aside to pay solicitor/ stamp duty etc) so it would have to be really special for me to pay that much.

I think we will go for a late breakfast or early lunch in between. I had just over £15 left in my account before my wages went in.

I need to fill the car up with petrol next week before I go away. I also need a few groceries so I may pop to aldee between viewings today.

The forecast is hot and dry today. I am just putting my bedding on to wash and hang out before I go out. Then I will wash some clothes when I get back and start sorting some stuff to pack.
