I'm getting about 7 hours of daylight now, hopefully you're getting longer.

PD walks are good and I do like hearing about the adventures.

Sorry to hear about the cardi and agree with SW about putting the money to use in r, it's already gone and you've done without it, why not reuse it for something to look at or bring happiness.

I have ordered 2 new pairs of jeans from asda in the sale. One pair £12 and one pair £6 total £18.00 & saving £16.50. So the refund on the cardi will go to paying for them (if they fit). Free delivery to store I will pick them up next week. 😁

Really fancied a takeaway tonight but had a batch cooked Thai green curry from the freezer with half a pack of micro rice.

Puppy dog is going away again tonight for the weekend so no dog walking for a few days & a lie in 🤗

I start work at 12 tomorrow so will go to mat Alan in the morning then shopping at aldee. As it is still half term I will go around 9am then I can rest before work. Their latest magazine came through the door today with a 20% off voucher but I will try to resist buying anything else! I didn’t see any cheaper/ nicer jeans on their website.

It’s been very dark / cloudy at 8am when I’m out dog walking, bright by 9am when I start work and dark again by 6pm here. It will be nice to have lighter mornings after the weekend but not looking forward to dark evenings

  • Was looking forward to a relaxing morning with no dog walking. Puppy dog went last night with DS’s gf to her parents. Was woken by DS crashing around, he must have overslept and was meant to be going away with work. Anyway he has been gone for hours now so hopefully he reached the pick up point in time, and my palpitations are starting to slow. Not a great start to the day!

Could not get back to sleep but have had a cup of tea. Checked online banking and wages have been paid 🤗 I will work out my budget for the month later.

My car is due it’s MOT and service by 1 Dec so I usually get it done mid November, so I will need to book it in. Very little mileage done since last year’s full service so I may be able to have a short service this year. £830 currently in the car fund plus another £50 to go in this month.

Right, time to get up, shower and hair wash then breakfast & off to mat Alan

Oh no poor you and poor DS. Hope you can rest now. It's great that you have the money for the car fund.

Car should be ok and you've a nice budget to cover costs.
Enjoy the shopping and may the day pass smoothly.

  • Just finished work and I’m too hyped up to relax. It’s quiet here with no dog etc.

Took cardi back to mat Alan and got another shorter navy one which suits me better than the longer one & will go with most of my tops and a new jumper 🤗

Then went to aldee & got food, toilet rolls & shampoo. Came to £39.23 which was more than I expected but some items will carry over to the next few weeks.

DS messaged to let me know he arrived ok & said sorry for waking me this morning when he overslept.

I have lots of batch cooking to do this weekend
    - beef, red peppers and chick pea curry
    - somerset pork with apple, butternut squash, carrot & baby potatoes
    - chicken, pasta, mushrooms & onion in creamy soft creamy cheese sauce (like garlic and herb philli)
    - curried parsnip soup
    - sausage casserole

So much choice I don’t know what to have for dinner 🤦‍♀️

    Cardi sounds nice 😊
Shopping is always more when toiletries are added in.
Meals look fantastic, should be satisfying after a hard day.

Hope you've managed to wind down a bit.
