Wishing for a good weekend and that you can enjoy this lovely food. I am happy as it is just after payday and I can buy good fresh  food this month instead of living on tins. I always feel hungry when I read food posts!

I got 2 x chicken chow mein and 2 x chicken & peppers in black bean sauce delivered for £11.30 and large containers so enough for 8 meals. 🤗 I will just add half a pack of aldi microwave rice with the chicken & peppers cost 35p a pack

Wasn’t feeling great yesterday. Walked the dog before work then ordered soup delivery from co op 4 tins for £3 plus pepsi max 8 cans £3 and some v naughty crisps & ice cream 😋 Had one tin of soup for lunch. Then made the chicken curry later for dinner with a jar of sauce DS & gf gave me as they didn’t like it.

DS gf got pinged by track and trace & she has to self isolate. We are waiting for the results of her test to see if we need to isolate too 😕 None of us have any symptoms & we are all double jabbed so 🤞Feels weird like I should put a big cross on the front door or something 😬

DS’s gf test results came back negative 🤗 she still has to isolate for a few more days.

I cancelled the tip run & lunch out with my friend today. Her sons gf also got pinged by track and trace yesterday so it makes sense to wait a week.

Yesterday I walked the dog in the rain then I used a £5 off voucher code for co op and got my shopping for next week delivered via snappy app. Total spend £19.27 including chicken, beef steak mince, fruit & veg, tinned beans & tomatoes, bread, eggs, tub of philly, 4 pint milk and a jar of tikka masala sauce plus other naughty items that jumped into my basket  👿

Once it stopped raining in the afternoon I did a bit of pruning and cut the grass. I was so hot after I got in the shower & had a lie down. Had some of the bargain chinese for tea then walked the dog again.

Today I will do some batch cooking. Plan to
make mince beef veg & bean chilli, a beef mince & veg pasta bake (with tin tomato soup I bought earlier in the week & some dried herbs & top with grated cheese), chicken & broccoli in philly sauce & chicken tikka masala.

I have some meals still in the freezer including chicken thai green curry, chinese chow mein, Chinese chicken with peppers in black bean sauce, garlic chicken Kiev, breaded cod & chicken in Indian butter sauce.

I also want to make a crustless broccoli & cheese quiche for breakfasts. Will also hard boil some eggs.

DS’s gf was working from home last night and had gone to bed around 4am just as I was waking up lol. She has the dog with her so I will wait until I hear the dog moving around & take her downstairs so she can have her breakfast. Then I will walk her 2 hours later so she doesn’t get bloat. I’m hoping to hoover downstairs later but will wait until this afternoon when DS’s gf gets up.
