Thanks SW. Once tip run is done the rest of the day should be relaxing. 😁
I moved some money to savings yesterday. Just waiting for DS’s gf bills money to hit my account it is delayed due to the weekend. Savings so far.£250pm acc. = £5405
£50pm 3% acc = £. 505
ISA = £1300
(emergency fund £1000
Chair £300)
Tomorrow I should be able to get the final balance for the month and move more to savings and bills accounts. Hopefully there will be enough left to round savings from £5910 to £6000

That's a bit warm, not surprised the fan was on.
I can't think what would make a suitable alternative for walks.
Enjoy your lunch 😃Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.3 -

Thanks both of you. SW I save £300 a month, only £50 more than you. There should be a bit extra this month due to the extra payrise.Tip run done to help a friend and got rid of a bag of garden waste & my old rotary metal washing line. Toby carvery was yum 😋 slow roast lamb, beef dripping roast potatoes, carrots cabbage peas cauli cheese & small yorkshire pud with gravy. It has been so hot we both had a glass of iced tap water. The bill was £23, after £10 voucher only £13 and I paid as a birthday gift for my friend.After that we came back to mine & had a couple of cold drinks sat in the garden under the parasol.
Sometimes when its hot we drive to the foreshore with the dog & air conditioning on & let then her have a swim, but on weekends the car park is packed. She’s been laid in the shade on her cool mat under the fan & had lots of cool drinks & ice cubes.0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Hurrah it soon builds up. I dont even count mine it just goes into the mortgage fund.
I cannot beleive you left the house in this weather - let alone did a tip run and have a cooked meal!!!!! Doggie is like me lying down and chilling. I am going to venture into the garden in a bit and try to do some gardening but I am sooooo lazy!Aiming for a minimal spend 20223 -
It’s meant to cool down over the next few days, wait until then to do your jobs & gardening SW.
Thankfully my car has aircon and there was a nice breeze at the tip & aircon at the carvery. The hottest part was sitting in the garden even under the parasol. After my friend left I came indoors and have been snoozing on the sofa with the fan on 😄0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Had my hair cut yesterday it’s now v short “pixie” style and nice and cool in this heat 🥵 Cut, 2 colour foils & blow dry £45. Will be paid from household fund.
Just back from walking the dog. The grass is wet with dew which she loves rolling on and nice and cool on my feet in sandals 😁 Roll on Friday when it is meant to start cooling down.Cold hard boiled egg for breakfast & tinned peaches both from the fridge. About the only thing I can manage this morning after a broken nights sleep even with fans on its scorching in the house.
