Raining here today & much cooler. Have walked the dog & found her a few ripe blackberries to munch along the way. 😁
I have chopped up the remaining broccoli & cauliflower & steamed it. It’s now cooling on a tray ready to be frozen & once frozen on the tray it will then will be bagged up in the freezer. It’s great just to be able to grab a handful when needed or chucked in curry / stir fry.I am taking friend to tip again later this morning. Hope it stops raining by then. Not sure if we are doing anything after that.0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Bet PD enjoyed the fruit!
It definitely makes sense freezing and portioning spare veg when cooking for one.
Hope the tip trip went well and you're having a relaxing afternoon.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.2 -
I hope your rain cleared up it rained by me all day and has just stopped by me. This freezing portions of veg is a brilliant idea.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220

Managed the trip to the tip between heavy rain. Then went to the range and bought a bench for the garden reduced from £109 to £24! Apparently there should have been a bench, chair & table but the rest of the set did not arrive so they are selling off the benches for £24. 😁
We dropped the bench off at my house then we went to wilko & they had reduced their garden chairs (which match the bench from the range) to £10 each so I bought 4!We parked in mat alan free for 2 hours & Wilko is just opposite. It’s amazing what you can fit in my tardis 😆 I also got a belt in mat Alan in the sale down from £5 to £3. All purchases will be paid for from the annual bills / household savings pot.Went back to friends house for a late lunch sandwich and cup of tea and watched a thunderstorm & lightening.Home now & it’s stopped raining and the sun has come out. I would sit on my new garden furniture but the dog has just accidentally head butted me on the nose 😢so I’m having a little lie down 🤦♀️0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

It was cloudy and cool this morning had a lovely dog walk. This afternoon the sun is out. I am just trying to summon up the energy to cut the grass.Had a naughty kfc last night. Have got fish stew out of the freezer for tonight. My nose is still sore even though I sat with ice on it last night & took painkillers. I must remember not to touch it 🙄 at least I don’t have 2 black eyes 😆0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗
