Thanks to both of you. I got petrol today & picked up my meds on the way back. Windscreen & wipers washed, water topped up & oil checked. There are 2 family birthdays while I am away so I will get £20 out of the birthdays / xmas fund & put £10 in each card. It is also a friends birthday next week so I will send her a card from the stash I bought in the cheap card shop last weekend. I bought second class stamps to save money & just have to remember to post them a bit earlier!I will work out what is left in the bank when I get back and move money to savings.Resting and packing tomorrow. Did a wash today & it dried outside. Will take a variety of clothes to cover every possible weather event ☀️⚡️☔️ ⛄️ 😆0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Make sure you leave enough space for everything you're bringing back down.

Had a lovely day out yesterday in Newark. Torrential rain on the way but blue skies and sunny when we got there. Nice walk round the cobbled streets & boutique shops. Walked round the outside of the church and remains of the castle enjoying the flower displays & walked along the canal. We had a pasty lunch from a bakery & a drink & sat in the market square watching the world go by. I also bought some chocolate & marmalade. Total spend for the day £7.49. DF paid for parking £2.50.Picked up dog food from nearby manufacturer 5 x 15kg bags £126 for Turkey & rice with omega 3&6. Saving £68 on cost of buying from p at home down south.Off to the east coast today. 😁 unfortunately we will not be able to see my Aunty & uncle on the way back as they have been pinged yesterday for covid & are now self isolating although negative so far. Hopefully we will still get to see everyone else. My test before coming up was negative & will be testing again between visits & before going home. DF & others we are visiting have also tested negative. Still wearing our masks in shops and busy places & trying to social distance from others but many are not.0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Sounds like a wonderful day out.
PD will be happy having the original food back.
There's no legal requirement for A&U to isolate, according to the ug0v site.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.1 -
I thought they had to, my friend was pinged and did last week. They were negative too and tested constantly. It just makes it safer if everyone is taking precautions especially for DF. I do hope you are enjoying the weather today Skinty, weather by me is sunny.Aiming for a minimal spend 20222

According to gov.uk for england
- if you have had close recent contact with someone who has COVID-19, you must self-isolate if NHS Test and Trace advises you to do so
From 16 AugustENGLAND
People fully vaccinated or under 18 will not need to self-isolate after close contact with someone who has COVID-19. You’ll still need to take a PCR test and self-isolate if it’s positive, or if you have symptoms.

Had a lovely day yesterday ending in a bbq at my sisters. We will not be visiting Aunty & uncle, rules maybe different in Scotland but at the moment they must self isolate in England & it is too much of a risk. This afternoon we are going back to DF’s & then out for chinese this evening for nieces birthday. I bought her a card last week in card shop 99p & put in £10 so she can get what she wants or use it for days out. We have a family agreement £10 for birthdays.0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Ping is different. Ugov says it's not a legal requirement.
T&T contact they are required to self isolate.
I looked up England requirements.
Hope the weather is nice and enjoy your Chinese 😊
