I am going to have to go on a diet when I get home 😆0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

I always thought holidays were about living it up, eating what you feel like and enjoying the time away. The trips and walking will balance out the good food.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.3

Agreed, holidays are for letting loose! You can be sensible for the other 50 or so weeks of the year3
-
Dont worry if it helps you will always be more sensible than me when it comes to food plus you do walk dearest doggie everyday normally! It is fab that your dad is so helpful. Enjoy the curry and every moment of your well deserved holiday.

Went into town early yesterday (Friday) to avoid the rush of market day. Managed to pay for a cashless parking space on my phone. What a palaver! Cost £2 for 4 hours so it was worth the faff. Also spent £3 in primarni on pj shorts as the elastic has gone on my existing ones 😳 told you I’ve been eating too much 😆 I will try and fix the elastic when I get home. DF managed to get trousers in m & s and other stuff in primarni. We both wore masks as the market was already bustling when we got there. In the afternoon I helped DF get quotes for his gas & electric switch as he is now within the 49 day window. Energy prices have gone up so much. It was one of the cheapest quotes to stay with eon & he wanted a 2 year fix. He was able to choose a date to switch to the more expensive tariff after his old 1 year fix ends so that was an unexpected bonus.Had a lovely meal out last night with family friends it was so nice to see them. DF refused to let me pay anything towards it.Today I will check my tyre pressure & oil later & fill up the car with petrol ready for the drive back on Monday. I will need to super inflate the tyres to take the weight of the dog food & my extra weight from all the food I have scoffed over the last week! ☺️ If the weather holds we are having a bbq later & we are having a roast tomorrow, pork & crackling 😋0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Shopping trip was productive! I've not tried the phone parking system.
Sounds like you need my first car, after I passed my test. That had a handle on the suspension to stiffen it when carrying a proper load.
Hope the weather holds up.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.1 -
Yum to bbq. Dont worry about eating you will walk it off with dear doggie. Well done on helping DF with his gas electric and hurrah for new clothes. Enjoy yourself as much as you can. I wish you could bring DF home for a few days.Aiming for a minimal spend 20221

Home again, it was hard to leave & a tiring journey. We both tested before I left & both negative. Puppy dog was pleased to see me 😁DF gave me a pair of shears he doesn’t use to chop the bushes back in my garden saving me from buying some. Garden looks like a jungle so I will make a start on it this week while I am still off work. He also gave me £40 for petrol which was lovely of him.Today I am going into town with a friend after dog walk. Wednesday I am meeting another friend for lunch. Thursday afternoon is physio. Friday I may be meeting up with another friend if she is well enough. She has been poorly while I have been away but has tested negative for covid at test centre so fingers crossed it’s just a “summer” cold & she will be feeling better soon.I have made an appointment at the dentist as I think I might have broken part of a molar back tooth or the filling. They are taking bookings for September for a check up. As there is no pain or swelling so it is not urgent
Not long until September now. The mornings are dark & cool
when I get up to feed puppy dog and the nights are drawing in. The forecast for the rest of the week is cloudy but no rain, so I should be able to get caught up on my washing & get it dried outside. I also need to phone my heating engineer and book a boiler service.I will sort online banking later. Bills money should have arrived from DS and his gf and I can see what is left to move to savings.0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗
