Will get up in a minute and feed the dog. Then I should manage another hour or so sleep before walking her and then working from home.

We are constantly monitored while working from home & I hadn’t realised how stressed I have been feeling. Since the house move didn’t happen I have felt really down and stopped caring about the house. I’ve spend most of the days in my living room working and then most of the evening in the living room surrounded by clutter.

So, new month about to start, new mindset needed. Need more positivity to try and drag myself out of the gloom.

I will eat healthy no junk & no online top up shops for chocolate. Plenty of fruit & veg.

I will do one positive thing each day to tidy the clutter & spend time after work outside the living room

I will work out my budget for July later and stick to it! Now things are lifting a little and I am starting to socialise more I need to get a grip of the entertainment budget & grocery budget. I’ve been using my monthly petrol budget to top up grocery spends & this will have to stop once everything opens up again & if/when I have to return to the office.

Have a good day everyone 😊

The last 15 odd months have been strange, a different way of thinking and adapting to ever changing circumstances.

Being closely watched isn't a good way of working, doesn't help with productivity nor confidence.

You have a lovely home and can get a lot out of it. As with anything, break it down to bite-sized pieces, a to do list and 15 minutes of your time, no more.

You've not got a commute to wind-down from work before walking through the door. Find a way to separate work end time to your personal time.
    - that's why I pop to the garden each day after logging off, it doesn't matter then that I'm sitting on the sofa next to 'my office' all evening.

All of these are good suggestions. Working from home is such a different way of living and quite stressful. I think if you can hop into garden or another room that will help. Well done on eating healthily the first thing i did was buy chocolate after payday last night!

Yesterday was much better and I sat with the dog in the shade for a while until it cooled down then walked her round the pond.

This week I am tidying my bedroom

Try on new clothes & put away
    Clear dirty washing mountain
Clear rubble off top of boiler cupboard
    Clear empty medicine packs ✅
    Clear empty medicine boxes ✅
    Clear dirty cups ✅
    Clear top of chest drawers✅
Clear wardrobe doors put clothes away✅
    Dust &hoover

Spent 10 minutes yesterday clearing a few things. Today is warm & sunny so I have walked the dog & put a load of washing out on the line. One more load hopefully this week should clear that off my list.

The lid on my wicker washing basket has collapsed. I need to get some glue & see if I can re-weave it and fix it instead of buying another. It’s over 25 years old & I have glued it a few times over the years

    Food plans today from stores

2 cold hard boiled egg & Mayo
    snack - tinned fruit
    lunch - beef salad
    dinner - chicken stir fry

Will work out my budget tonight.

Good to do list and off to a flying start.
Hope the glue works, g0rilla glue is useful if you need to bridge gaps, it's like spray foam and expands.
    Meals look nice.

Will get some glue at the weekend while I’m out & about.

Day 2 of no chocolate or ice cream. I think I am having sugar withdrawal! Didn’t do much yesterday but did relax in the kitchen/ garden after work & once cooled down I took the dog for a meander round the pond. Was so tired I fell asleep after dinner & then went to bed and slept until 5am. Didn’t get round to doing my budget but it was a NSD. Feeling ok so far today. Food plan is
b - mashed mackerel in tomato sauce on low carb toast
    l - tuna & sweetcorn with Mayo & salad
d - spag bol (batch cooked from freezer) with roasted veg.

Will try & do budget & more of to-do list tonight

Sorry you are having a stressful time. I too used to feel stressed working from home sometimes. I think software will survey WFH staff much more in the future. There are upsides to WFH but the downsides have not been fully explored...

Your To Do list sounds good. Lists are so motivating :)
