  • Thanks folks. Still feeling rough after laying down and sleeping on and off for most of the day. Thankfully I am stocked up on cheap paracetamol. Head and ear ache & lurching around like a drunkard 😬

Have had a shower and hair wash and dosed up hopefully will sleep tonight. Fans are still on, it’s so hot despite the fact that it has been raining here since 6.30pm. We have thunderstorms forecast for tonight and heavy rain in the morning.

DS has paid his bills money so I have moved money around and paid my credit card. DS’s gf share of bills should be in my account tomorrow & then I can see what is left for savings this month.

Feeling a little better this afternoon. Managed to walk to the post box at the end of the road & post DF’s Father’s Day card. It’s very warm & raining here now, I’m surprised we have no thunder storms so far.

I have been naughty & ordered fish & chips delivered for tea £8.40. Paid from entertainment fund. Just fancy salty chips for my sore throat 😉 I must stock up on frozen fish & chips next time I go shopping.

  • Managed a walk with the dog this morning. The weather is cool, cloudy and dry, lovely for walking.

Sausage cheese muffin for breakfast (fake McD) with hash browns. Just back from co op with milk & also got a family sized shepherds pie reduced to £2 which I will portion up & freeze.

I have moved money into savings £250. £50 already paid into other savings account. £50 into car fund & £15 into dog food fund. Nothing into birthday account this month as used towards birthdays in June. Nothing into bills account this month £100 used towards annual insurance paid this month. Rest of bills covered from Bills account.

Next week I have a day off & I am meeting a friend for lunch. Not sure where we are going yet but hopefully will find some deals or vouchers.

You're sounding perkier, hopefully the worst is over and now it's recovery time.

Savings are continuing to go up, which is always a positive.
