What is nice is that your kids thought of you. Your Mum is watching you from above and must be so proud of you, I know we are. Sending big hugs and love, swxAiming for a minimal spend 20222

Feeling very stressed about work this week. My stomach is churning, my healthy eating has gone out the window & I’m not sleeping much. No structure or substance to the so called “training” it’s only because I did this type of work years ago that I know what we should be taught. Colleague is struggling so much she was sobbing last week. 😕
I was going to order take away last night but fell asleep on the sofa & woke too late to order. Had a couple of chocolate biscuits instead. I have enough in the cupboard/ fridge etc to last a few days before going shopping

I am so sorry, it sounds awful. I think you are eating what you need so please do what you can to get through the day. Try to stay focussed on the nice thing like puppy and all the lovely things you have done to your house in the summer you will be able to see your father. Take comfort in the fact you have a plan through all your hard work on MSE. Thinking of you and sending my love. swxAiming for a minimal spend 20221

That is dreadful Skinty, I feel your pain with the training.

Thanks SW & Babs. Two dog walks today. Went with DS’s gf after work just to get out & take my mind off things. It was lovely and sunny and warm ☀️Fish and chips for dinner, free delivery and within budget £7.96. Must cut it out now otherwise I will be over budget and overweight!Lots of jobs getting put off at home so I will try & do one thing a day on top of the usual daily cleaning of the kitchen, load/ unload the dishwasher & daily clean round the bathroom sink / loo.-Hoover hall stairs & landing
-wipe down all woodwork stairs, dado rail & skirtings
-wash dog slobber off patio doors
-disinfect patio
-wash kitchen floor - need to get back to doing this daily

It's hard to focus on doing personal things when work is playing on your mind. Don't push yourself and only do what you feel up to.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.2

Managed to hoover all downstairs yesterday. Went for a walk with DS’s gf & dog & called at co op and got milk plus 1 shepherds pie reduced from £2.75 to £1.20 and beef stew & dumplings reduced from £2.75 to £1.18.Went shopping to aldi after work today and spent £37.04. Over budget again but should be enough meat for 2 weeks including diced beef 30% off, lambs liver £1.04, pork shoulder, chicken fillets & lamb. Plus lots of fruit & veg, halloumi, bottle of olive oil & dishwasher cleaners.Got back & walked the dog again. Cooked a batch of chilli for the freezer but I am having pizza for tea £1.25 😁0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

That's not a bad price Skinty, considering what you've picked up.
Hope the weather has been bright and warm for you too.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.2 -
No bright warm weather here, I think north of the border is having a heat wave at the moment 😆
Forecast today is cloudy and cool. So glad it’s Friday. One more week then 2 weeks off. If I can get most of the cleaning jobs done after work over the next week & this weekend I can spend 2 weeks decorating & resting.I have paid my credit card & need to move some to savings. I will try and make my shopping last until payday at the end of the month apart from I may need to buy more milk & fruit next week. What is left will go into savings.Have been speaking to DF and I am hoping to be able to go and see him in August for a week depending on corona situation. We will both have had 2 jabs by then. He is hoping to come here in October and said he is looking forward to tackling my list of diy jobs as he’s done all his and is bored 😆 DS & gf have decided to save more so I will revisit the selling & moving plan next year.0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗
