Poor puppy I hope she will get better v soon glad she still has some energy. Thank goodness for insurance and well done on claiming the new tax code. I haven't seen a difference but my wages are a bit crackers at the moment so hopefully next month I will spot the change.
The sun is shining here but it is frosty. I am sure it will heat up later by me. Yum to Dominos Pizza!!!!Aiming for a minimal spend 20220 -
Check your tax code on your payslip since you claimed & it should have changed. I think that is the easiest way to tell if you’ve had it SW.Lovely bright sunny morning here today but cold & frosty. Been for a short 10 min plod with the dog & she seems a lot better this morning.I know the insurance will not cover everything as there is an excess & they only pay out up to certain limits for emergency vet fees, but I will cover the rest of the bill with my emergency fund until DS pays me back.Hoping to meet up with a friend later, maybe a socially distanced walk.0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Poor PD, hopefully a few more days of plain food will do her good.
I don't blame you for having pizza, it was my plan which I totally forgot about when doing the shopping. My local chippy does great pizzas cheap.
Spring feels like it's getting closer with every new day, enjoy your walk and catching up with friend.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.1 -
Poor puppy, wishing her the best. Pizza sounds fab!2

Received £5 credit from pay pal 🤗 from their email offer for downloading the app. I have withdrawn it to my bank.March is council tax free & waste water free so that should cover some of the shortfall in the vet bill.I have a day off this week for my Covid jab & will do a food shop too. There are going to be big changes in work. Those who have been there the longest will be worse off. we should be getting our late night rota soon 😕 There will be no more early morning starts and I will also be losing part of my holiday. I will have to choose between home working or working in the office (when we can go back) as I only have one specialist chair. It seems there is no negotiation ☹️There will be a payrise in March pay but those who have been there the longest get the least & it’s not going to compensate for what I am losing. At least I still have a job.Nice sunny day yesterday. Short walk with the dog round the pond in the morning. Did some hoovering, load of washing line dried outside & scrubbed the patio. Heating was off. Another short walk with the dog & DS’s gf in the afternoon. Didn’t meet up with my friend as her late mother’s partner has passed away with covid. Even though he wasn’t her father he was a big part of her life it’s very sad 😢0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Pizza and a puppy. How good is it over at yours?
Your work situation sounds tricky. Is there a way of splitting it so you work both from home and at work? Is there a union or a staff rep you can chat to? ACAS have a free helpline. Why not call and talk it through with them...If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

Thanks dia. Unfortunately I cannot take the chair I need to do my job into work then home again & the deal has union backing. The newer members of staff who are the majority have voted it in & will benefit from it. The rest of us are stuck with it.“Puppy dog” isn’t really a puppy anymore, I can’t believe she will be 4 later this year 🐶
Have just got back from a walk, bumped into another friend and had a nice chat. It’s cooler today but sunny & blue sky. Towels are washing & will be hung out to line dry. Have been through the cupboards & freezer & sorted out some meals until I go shopping.Today
B - toasted hot cross bun
L - bacon, broccoli & cheese omelette
D - beef stew (no potatoes) with cauliflower, cabbage & sprouts
Puppy dog is starting to moult with the warmer weather. Gave her a good brush outside yesterday & will do a bit more today. Will hoover the kitchen / dog room again today, at least it doesn’t take long with no carpet now 😁0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Can you buy a chair for home, not exactly what you have at work, but something similar, a lot cheaper or maybe see what adaptions can be added to a normal office chair so you can do both.
The joys of PD getting her summer coat, birds appreciate the fur as it gets used in nests.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.2 -
I worked for a charity until a few years ago, and I worked from home 3 days a week. I was allowed to purchase a specialised chair for at home as H&S said it was essential. I also had the same at work. Maybe lockdown has altered how people see WFH and the responsibilities of employers. Sorry you are stuck with the current situation. If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

It is the employer that is saying those employees with specialist equipment & chairs cannot work from home & office. They sent me home on full pay March 2020 and I then had to wait from March until May for them to send my chair by courier from office to home before they would let me do any work. Something to do with HR/DSE and access to work assessments. I will offer to buy an extra chair but I believe it was several hundred pounds. Would probably be worth it to avoid having to be in the office until 8pm on later shifts.0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗
