  • Your mirror sounds lovely.

RM deliveries depend on area as they're struggling staff levels. Whenever it arrives it will be a nice positive surprise for your friend.

    Hope your day goes well.

  • Some potential big changes announced at work yesterday which will mean me working shifts / unsociable hours / weekends for less holiday and a small payrise. ☹️

Walked to the post office after work & sent my friend her bday card. Cost 85p which was more than the card! Had some change in my purse so used that. Home again and walked the dog. DS & gf at work. Ended up with a microwave curry for dinner & then fell asleep on the sofa until 10.30 then went to bed. So tired I have no idea how I could work evenings 😞

Well done on your HbAlc all the housework and keeping healthy. 3 years and look at all the amazing things you have achieved. The work news is scary. I do hope they change their minds. Everywhere seems to be streamlining. Please let it all be ok.

Maybe it will work well for some people so they have permanent evenings and you have permanent days. Wait and see what the final decision is then speak with colleagues. Don't forget reasonable adjustments due to your health.

Postage charges are getting very silly, that was before the new rise came in. Soon it won't be worthwhile sending letters and cards, only parcels.

  • I haven’t had my hba1c results yet SW but I’m keep my fingers crossed.

The changes are worse than expected and there will be no changing or swopping shifts 😕 I have a meeting booked later in the week so will hopefully get more answers then.

    Am really craving chocolate

Aw Skinty, so sorry to read that  :| - maybe you have a chance to negotiate at the meeting, perhaps not full time? Just a thought.... I am sending you virtual chocolate as I have eaten anything resembling chocolate/sweeties in this place!

    Oh, that's unfortunate ☹️

If you were to downsize, would that free up money to give you a few years income?
I know it would be a squeeze having 3+ PD in a 2 bed, but it's an option I would give some serious consideration to. Then you would have an end date at some point and could find something more suitable employment wise.

I hope there is room for negotiation fingers crossed. Where i work they are always announcing redundancies in small numbers every few months. I'm scared in the job climate we have. Keeping fingers crossed for you.
