It’s just pure luck if I find rtc items. I rarely go to tesco & just happened to pop in yesterday around 12 so I was surprised there was anything left!Had a lazy day yesterday after the tip run apart from dog walk 2. Have weighed myself this morning and I have lost 1lb 🤗. Have walked the dog for an hour this morning and just had breakfast, 2 eggs, 2 bacon, mushrooms & tinned tomatoes 😋 Lunch will be teriyaki chicken noodles & dinner will be stew. (Beef & root veg plus extra broccoli & cauliflower no potatoes)
Today I will sew the net curtain and make a new strap cover for the dog harness. Can’t quite motivate myself to do the wooden floor!0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

1lb is wonderful!
You've done a lot at home and a couple of weekends taking it easy will do you a load of good. There's no rush until DD and GF find another potential house.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.3 -

It’s still been cold today the pond is still frozen 🥶 it’s funny seeing the ducks walking on top of the water 🦆 🦆 It’s supposed to be 8 degrees tomorrow so hopefully a bit warmer
It took me most of the day to sew the strap cover for the dog harness. I wore my “new” homemade fingerless gloves to keep my hands warm. I will finish the net curtain one afternoon this week after work.SW has reminded me that the next 2 months are council tax free. I may use some of the money to redecorate and refloor the hallway. Am thinking of boarding and lino which should be quieter and warmer than laminate & easier to clean than carpet. 2 x £154 = £308. I don’t want to spend too much if we are going to move at some point (no sign of them looking for / booking a broker / mortgage appointment).Checked online banking & DF’s cheque has cleared. I have paid off my credit card which included some items he asked me to order for him. He doesn’t do online shopping so by using amazon I can get stuff easily delivered to him & then he just sends me a cheque.0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

You are back in action Skinty! Well, you haven't really stopped that much
I am thinking about lino in the hall too, since the dog drags in leaves and stuff from the garden, and seems to be more prone to 'accidents' now, little sausage....
You have to keep planning for your move, even if it feels more on the 'back burner' at the moment, so at least you will be prepared for it. Such a shame there's no motivating the DS & GF, maybe it will allow them to save a bit more, towards all the costs of buying....

Laminate is cold, even with underlay. I walk around in slipper socks and slippers, sometimes with a pair of socks under them!
Looks like a very good use of the CT free months.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.1 -
The wind is howling and the rain is pouring today. Will walk the dog once it starts getting light.I did some quotes online for breakdown cover. Going with the same company online is 40% cheaper. Going with the same company with a £40 excess is even cheaper and would save money if I only breakdown once. Haven’t broken down for years and not at all in this car. I will try a different comparison site this afternoon. For home start, national, onward travel, misfueling, recovery from snow or mud or flood the cheapest I can find with no excess & unlimited callouts is £71. The cheaper option is £28 with £40 excess. This would be cost effective if I broke down once or less but it would be just my luck to jinx myself!0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

That's not a bad price, £71, for what you have.

So impressed with your meal planning and food shopping. It reminds me to meal plan.
I must admit I have fingerless cashmere gloves I wear indoors. I got them from a company that used to do seconds but no longer do.
If you have cold floors I found buying sheepskin inner soles and putting them inside my slippers works wellIf you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them
