Hi Skinty - I love reading how organised you are, with the budget and meal planning, you have this down to a fine art...."...when you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains however improbable, must be the truth..."

One load of washing part dried outside now put on airers to dry off in front of the radiators later.DF & his gf have taken the dog out to the forest. I have taken the opportunity to hoover out my car which was covered in sand from the beach this morning and dog hair! It’s much easier coming in and out without the dog trying to escape near the road to see what’s going on. 😆
My MOT & service is later this week. I’m using a local garage instead of main dealer now the car is no longer under warranty. This means the car will not get its annual wash & valet they usually give it. I’ve hoovered and will wipe over the interior surfaces just as a courtesy for the poor person who has to sit in it, that’s about my limit. I’m not washing it too!Just having a rest and then I will make sausage casserole. DF’s gf gave me a chicken fajitas meal pack as they will not eat it and it goes out of date today and says do not freeze. So I will cook that later for dinner & have the last magnum ice cream as a treat (on offer box of 4 were £2 in my Morrisons order). Then I have to be good as I have my diabetes fasting blood test on Wednesday 🤫😬0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Sausage casserole was nom and there were 4 portions for the freezer. I cooked the fajitas meat & veg that DS’s gf gave me & mixed with half a pack of microwave Mexican rice and drizzled with natural yoghurt and sprinkled with grated cheese 😋Have been out for an hour with the dog, it’s damp and dreary here today so I am glad I drove to the beach yesterday. No wind and a bit foggy so no washing will be dried outside today.I am going to watch the Remembrance Sunday commemorations on tv this morning and will be standing on my doorstep for the 2 minute silence. Even in this current situation with the virus I believe that we should still take the time to remember the enormous sacrifices made by those fighting for our lives and freedoms.0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Nice grub, and sounds like the walk blew away the cobwebs.
Me too, Skinty, I always watch it, even if it may seem a bit silly because no-one's here except the dog. I always stand up and think about people who have put their lives on the line for us. I think about my older relatives, now sadly gone, who served, and all those still in the forces, especially those far from home. Makes you realise that we have one heck of a lot to be grateful for."...when you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains however improbable, must be the truth..."

And also those who sacrificed so much in more recent conflicts. It felt weird not wearing a poppy today. I found an old one in a drawer and wore it for the 2 minute silence at 11am stood on my doorstep and donated £5 to the royal british legion online0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

The weekend has gone very quickly. I had roast pork with herb crust yesterday and there is enough left for another dinner put in the freezer and a slice for a sandwich at lunchtime today.I let the dog out & fed her at 5am this morning. Then I went back to bed and am having a lie in as DS’s gf is taking her to the forest this morning. I am working from 9am so I will get up soon.I couldn’t find any of the silver round flat batteries in the house for my weighing scales yesterday so I ordered some online £2.95 for 5 with free delivery. Will have to wait until next Sunday to see how much I have put on 😬 as I only weigh myself on Sunday's.Will put the gammon in the slow cooker today for dinner tonight with cauliflower cheese 😋 Leftovers will be frozen for another dinner and for lunchtime wraps with salad.0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Hope you got some extra sleep!
Good find on the batteries, I stupidly paid £5 for 2 of those for my scales.... gah. This was at T*mpsons who have a small shop near Mr T's, and me just assuming they must be cheaper. I then went in to Mr T's to see they had 2 for £4.50 at their cheapest. Double gah!
