It was chilly by me this morning and just as I left work. I hope little doggie is well. Your breakfast looks great. I am glad you had that walk. The tiredness hit me yesterday and I am glad i took the day off as it did me the world of good. I hope you are resting now.

  • Hey Skinty
Glad you are feeling a bit better, that's some impressive list, and sounds pretty healthy to me too. And good on you for fighting on with the shoe company 'Never give up, never surrender!'  ;)

  • Shopping looks great as do the meal plans. Well done cutting your budget back down, now you are doing it and not having deliveries 🤗

(Please check the ingredients in the peanut butter, if there's palm oil, do not give it to PD)
Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.
  • Sports direct have sent me a label to print & drop off parcel at local shop for collection and refund.

The vet has said it’s ok for a small treat for the dog so she has had it since a pup. As long as it doesn’t have xylitol in it.

  • Lovely sunny morning not too cool. Have been out for an hour with the dog.

Used my entertainment budget & blew the healthy eating last night & had fish and chips with Free delivery £6.20. Don’t feel hungry this morning so just had scrambled egg & some melon.

Need to pack up my shoes later to send back for a refund. I’m thinking of using my old shoes and getting some waterproof spray ? Does anyone know a good spray that will do my shoes, coat & waterproof over-trousers which are leaving damp patches on my knees ?

  • Nikwax is the only one I use. I even put it on non-water proof boots when I buy them. Been using it for nearly 20 years, my sibling for longer 😊
They do different things for clothes / boots.

Fish and chips sound great and just what was needed for a mid-week hump day!

  • Will have a look at Nikwax thanks

Quiet few days just dog walking and working.

I have decided to paint my small wooden shed this weekend as the weather is forecast to be dry & warm. I’ve ordered creocote from tool station last night on offer at £7.99  down from just over £10 on click & collect. They should contact me once it’s ready to collect. I already have brushes etc from last time I used this stuff. The wood is looking very dry so it will need a good soak.

  • I walked the dog this morning then dropped off my shoes at a local shop for collection & refund. Popped to tool station & collected my shed paint.

I was thinking of starting painting today but it has gone cloudy & dark. There is no rain forecast but it looks like it will chuck it down any minute. My washing is just finishing so I will hang it out & hope it stays dry. I will do the shed painting tomorrow.

Am at a bit of a loss for the rest of the day. Don’t feel like doing housework.
