Hey Skinty
Don't be rough on yourself, I think we have all been there, stress eating. What I am beginning to learn is, it's ok if you want to stress eat, I can snort down half a packet of (vegan) biscuits whilst dunking them in my tea at one go, with the dog 'helping'... For me, the crucial mistake is, 'Well, I fell off the wagon, so, it doesn't matter if I get that bag of chips/scoff chocolate/mindlessly munch in front of the t.v.'.
If it helps, what I now try to do is say, 'Ok, you've had that treat. It's not the end of the world. Now don't beat yourself up (wet fish on standby). Climb back on the healthy eating wagon and don't look at the scales for at least a week....' And then its only a blip, and the scales aren't as scary....
Don't forget how much you are achieving, that you need downtime and recovery too...Take care

I agree with that. We always beat ourselves up it's what keeps the beauty industry going and what are we comparing ourselves to? a bunch of models who are paid to just look good and are most probably anorexic anyway!
It is overcast by me i hope it is ok by you.

Cool grey morning. The sun is just starting to break through the clouds but there is no wind, not even a gentle breeze.Walked the dog this morning and was having a lovely time until she found a huge bone & ran off. I couldn’t get near her, then thankfully some other dog walkers came along with about 6 dogs between them & she went over to say hello & they managed to grab her. Otherwise I’d have been there for hours! They said people throw bones out to feed the foxes. This was a large knuckle bone the size of a small football. I picked it up with a bag & put it in the bin.Managed to get 2 loads of washing dried outside yesterday. Was hoping to do the towels today but they will not dry without any wind.Food plans today
b - poached egg on toast
L - breaded fish from freezer, oven chips & mushy peas
D - Microwave curry & rice
snacks - fruit, nuts
I’m not really trying to lose weight, more trying to making changes to my diet to improve my health. It would be good to lose a little weight & get out of the overweight BMI and into the healthy category.Once I’ve used up the last of the fish & chips today I can replace them with something more healthy. I can’t bring myself to throw food away & this will be the last of the less healthy stuff in the freezer. Maybe I will get some plain cod fillets & sweet potatoes to make wedges with mushy peas, may be a healthier option for me.0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

How could PD resist free food 😁 we used to throw cat food out for the foxes at the last flat, haven't seen any here 🤔
With food it's so easy to think I will have a frozen pizza, chips etc and there isn't a need to dispose of the less healthy food, merely team it up with something which is. Do fish, rice and salad, sausage casserole, bacon and pasta sauce, pie and greens, even do a vegi day the day after a non-healthy day to balance it out again.
You already meal plan and I'm sure you will find a way to balance good with not-so-good.
Enjoy the rest of your bank holiday 🤗

All looks good Skinty, I do like their racer bars and can highly recommend their apple crumble or rhubarb crumble yoghurt.
Enjoy your curry!Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.1 -

The racer bars were a little treat / test run. (They are like little snicker bars). I bought them as a weekly treat on the understanding that once they are gone that’s it. I’ve had 3 already 😳 so I now know that I still have no willpower. 🙄 I suppose the calories are the same over a week whether I have one a day or 6 in one day, but I would rather not spike my blood sugar that much in one go. I will not buy any multi packs next week. I am going to try & get to b&m and get some options hot chocolate. Hopefully that will hit the spot instead.Fed the dog at 5.30, gosh it’s dark & cold in the mornings now. I will have another snooze then walk her at 7.30, then work 8.45 - 2.45 before I go to the hairdresser at 3pm. Hair will be paid out of annual bills. I think it may have gone up a little for PPE to £44 so it works out at £22 a month (every 6-8 weeks).0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗
