    -descale kettle & shower head✅
    - hose down patio ✅
-pour boiling water on weeds in patio ✅
Also 2 loads of washing done & dried. Did some batch cooking this morning while the kitchen was cool. Chicken & peppers in black bean sauce and chicken fajitas with peppers & courgettes. Sat down & rested between jobs 😊

Just had fajitas for dinner, 1 portion warmed up with wraps, natural yoghurt, grated cheese & fresh chopped tomatoes. 😋 The rest is portioned up & in the freezer. 2 wraps left also popped in the freezer.

This afternoon it was too hot to do much so I lounged on the sofa with the patio doors open & there was a cool breeze. I watched a film The Thomas Crown Affair with Steve McQueen. Also had a nap 😴

Received an email from george to say both refunds have been made. PayPal emailed me yesterday to say they had one & it was being repaid to my credit card. The other parcel I paid for direct with my credit card so that should get repaid straight to my card. 😊

I love that film. OMG the theme tune Windmills of your Mind is in my head now and Steve McQueen. YUM. I am so pleased the refunds have happened. The food sounds great.

Grey skies & light rain here today.

    I weighed myself this morning. On 15/3/20 I was 11st 5 and since lockdown I have fluctuated up and down between 11st 5 & 11st 3. On 28/6/20 I was 11st 3. Today I am 11st 2 🤗 How did that happen 😆

    Food for today will be
    b - pilchards on toast
    L - roast chicken dinner
d - salad (if hungry) with cheese or hard boiled egg or leftover chicken

I also plan to tackle the rest of my list

-sort cardboard for recycling & polystyrene in utility room ready for bin as DS & gf have not got round to re-booking for the tip

-sew hem on curtains at kitchen patio doors

    -clean hob

Should be a steady relaxing day

Thing is, just lately I’ve been doing less & eating more ! Much less walking after hurting my foot & then my back.

Didn’t do any of the jobs on my list today 😆 Made a roast for lunch 😋 Leftovers portioned up for 2 more roast dinners & shredded chicken for lunches, salads, wraps etc, all put in freezer. Have washed up pans & steamer & dishwasher now on.

The rain stopped about 4pm so I went out & weeded the alley at the back of the house. It has membrane & stones out there but a few weeds still grow on top. They can’t send down deep roots so come up really easily. Only took about 20 minutes, half a carrier bag full emptied into garden recycling bin. Noticed the gates becoming loose & some screws missing. Found some longer screws in my stash & screwed them in. Now back to lounging on the sofa 😊

Glad you are still getting stuff done, even if it's hurting, you must feel good seeing results, but don't forget to pace yourself too... :)

I don’t do stuff if it’s hurting. Just keep moving & pottering around.

Puppy dog had gone to doggy hospital 😢 she’s been vomiting, listless, shaking & diaorrea & vet said low pulse so she has to stay overnight so they can X-ray & monitor her. Hopefully she’ll be ok by the morning. 😢
