That's good news, you can start to relax a bit now. PD will soon forget she was ill when better.

I think you need rum flavoured ice cream after the week you've had!

Nice to read that she's better, I haven't heard of that diagnosis before, sounds nasty. That kind of thing can knock you for six, hope you are putting your feet up and recovering too...

Had a reply from leaking shoe company (Email number 12 ! ) they have referred my claim back to their finance team again to get my refund processed.

Let’s see how much longer / how many more emails it takes ! At least this time they are not insisting I take the faulty shoes back to the store 15 miles away, especially when I bought them online.

Sorry didn’t see your post. I had never heard of it either. Have heard of gastroenteritis in humans.

This is a haemorrhaging kind in dogs makes them bleed & go downhill very fast and they don’t know what causes it. I had to google ! They ruled out blockages & poison by X-ray & blood tests then treated with iv fluids, antibiotics, painkillers, anti-sickness injections to stop the repeated vomiting & Rehydrate & bring pulse rate back up.

Thanks for the rocket up the backside vibe re leaky shoe company 😆

  • Didn’t have any rum ice cream MF 😆 Really fancied a kebab last night but instead I defrosted some chicken from the freezer and made tandoori chicken with salad.

Puppy dog only swallowed 2 tablets in chicken this morning then refused any more. However by 9.30 she was hungry so I managed to get her to swallow the rest & she had a whole pack of the vet recovery food 😁

It was raining earlier & is now grey, damp & windy. I haven’t really planned anything for the weekend.

After getting stuck on the M1 last week I have an awful feeling that I may have done 70mph in a variable speed limit 60mph section 🙁 Will have to wait 2 weeks & see if a ticket arrives. Trying not to think about it!

It's ok SYA, I had the kebab for you 😁

PD is on the road to recovery and if human tablets are anything to go on, hers probably taste horrible too.

Wait and see if anything comes. You may have misremembered where everything was due to being stressed.

Decidedly Scottish is the weather term we use!

  • I remember there being 60mph in parts. Then I don’t remember any more signs and I was doing 70mph then I saw national speed limit signs but I was already doing 70mph at that point. Oh well can’t do anything about it now other than wait and see.

I will pop claim form into vet later. Also need to phone V Media to renegotiate my price as customer discount £10 runs out 28 August.

Drove to the vets & dropped off the claim form. Had to pay for them to fill out their bit £7 which cannot claim back on insurance 😕

Walked across to b & m and got some hair mousse £1, 5 curry noodles 32p each, gaviscon tablets £1 and 2 packets of goodies £1 each. 😄 Not many people there social distancing ok & all wearing masks.

Had a fakeaway Kfc for lunch chicken mini Kiev & southern fried strips with a few chips, onion rings & a small pot of gravy. Have spent the afternoon watching tv & munching chocs 😊 Film is Tomb raider (2018)

The main thing is your form is done and PD is getting better.

Yummy to the noodles and the fakeaway!
