Work was a struggle today. Had to admit to myself I couldn’t manage & use the wheelchair.Met 2 friends at the pub for lunch. Parked outside and hobbled in. One friend had lunch deal, wrap, chips & drink £7.19 and I chose off the 2 for £9.99 with other friend. Hunters chicken with cheese & bacon, chips & peas £5 & large Diet Coke £2.50. Was nice to chat & catch up & have a laugh. Have dosed up on painkillers since I got home.I wore slip on flat shoes today, big mistake they were too tight as feet swelled up and foot is sore & swollen again. Will wear boots tomorrow hopefully will be more comfy0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Sorry work was difficult, but you did the right thing accepting the chair.
Lunch sounded fab. I will be living life vicariously through you for a bit as I started my diet today.
So you have trainers? Not the best for looks, but allow movement and are adjustable.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.0 -
Haven't been able to get my swollen feet into trainers. Wore my boots today and was much better. They have zips down both sides so they are easy to get on and off again.Parked outside coop on way home and hobbled in for milk. They had some meals half price £1.40 each reduced to clear so I got shepherds pie, sweet & sour chicken & rice and braised steak with mash. I should have enough food to last until Friday and hopefully by then I will be a bit more mobile and manage a shop at Aldi.0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Well done on bagging the meals, that will make it a little easier for you.
Have you ring the doctor yet?Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.2 -
Not yet. Will see how I am tomorrow. If still no improvement will ring GP as it will be 2 weeks since I fell and while right ankle is still bruised the pain is much reduced but left leg is still very painful like a stabbing pain in my calf muscle, especially when lifting my leg to go up steps etc. 😩
I did ring & rearrange my diabetic retinopathy appointment to an afternoon one so I can go after work. The test centre is within walking distance as they put drops in my eyes I cannot drive afterwards. That’s not till May so I should be back to normal walking by then ! Also rang chemist and ordered repeat prescription for meds. Am lucky that it’s all free.0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

The trick with steps, IF you can put weight on your bad leg, is keep that one straight and use your good leg up to the next step, hoisting your bad straight leg up onto the same step and repeating the process. Takes a while to get the hang of it, also takes ages to get up the stairs.
To get down the stairs it's hold on to the rail, keep bad leg straight, bend good leg and drop bad leg down to the next step, bending the good leg to move that one down after.
Have you tried a hot water bottle on your leg?
It's good you have managed to move your other appointment and order your meds.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.1 -
