Morning All
(((hugs))) JackieO hope your wound starts healing quickly.
Yes its dark and wet here today also, did loads of washing over the weekend but the washing basket has managed to fill its self already but doesnt seem much chance of drying today so may leave it till tomorrow.
Back to same old routine here - paperwork and housework, do need to pop to a big town to pick up some last bits for DS' birthday which is on friday.
Not much motivation here this morning, hopefully some will appear once kids are at school. Not even sure whats for dinner tonight, will discus with oh once he's up.
Have a good day.x0 -
Morning All
Wasnt around much over the weekend, mainly because I was busy doing a mass clearout in my wardrobe. I'm sad to say that there was nothing worth ebaying and lots to be sent for recycling. I did find a couple of posh going out bags which I will flog as I never go anywhere and my everyday bag is on its last legs so I can use the money to replace that.
Off to work this morning DD is fed and watered and I just need to get her dressed shes currently painting herself with the contents of my make-up bag which is another thing I decluttered this weekend I really have no need for a bag full of clubbing makeup anymore and most of it has gone off.
Tea is Ham and chips with brocholli which is all prepared and will be nice and quick to do tonight. The WM is on and I can hang it on the maiden before I go to work.
Have a good day everyoneSorting my life out one day at a time0 -
Well down on sunny isle of wight it is far from sunny.
i still have lights on it so dark. not had lights on at thsi time for age's. it very windy , raining and dark. i love it. but it not cold. which is nice.
i was supposed to do a tip run today. but everything is now wet. and not sure i can be bothered. lol. will have to see how i feel when get back from school run. would be nice to get rid of it all.
i've got to do a meal plan for the week. trying to tighten our belt's as hubby's over time been cut so that means were down £1k a month. which is the first time in month's. but i know i can do it. i used to be able to.
i've emptied the dw. and started to refill. got a washing load to do and set airer up in bath room. also need to do a basic clean. can't get my head around doing a deep clean at mo.
i have a friend coming round tonight while hubby out so i might make something really naugthy. although she always on a diet so might make one naughty cake and 1 not so naughty , just incase.
My son has his new wellies on already. he put them on as soon as he woke up. they cost more then we usually spend. they cost £8. but they are fluffly lined. and in winter , wellies are always so cold. and he will( if i let him) were wellies every day . plus they got a draw string at top so can stop rain from running inside. my liittle girl wants a pair so will prob get them to go with her birthday pressie's. how practial am i, lol.
we've had toast for breakkie , kids want noodles for lunch , followed prob by yog or jelly. i've got crusty roll,s with poss marmite in.(yum) dinner is jacket spud , beans and cheese.
hope everyone has a good day.0 -

Hello to everyone not mentioned individually I do know how excited I get when someone specifically mentions Mr and Mrs Chalky and the other chalkys
Well I am going to make some bread in a minute- its been ages!!
Then its tidy out the dump- sorry utility room. I seem, to manage to keep the house fairly well but always need a place which is a complete tip and then it drives me mad. Dont understand my own logic. Under the stairs is another contender!!!
Lot to do in town and MIL's birthday tomorrow so got to go and get her a spike for holding bird feeders. The table keeps blowing over in all this wind and she is getting past keeping it clean and I worry about the birds getting infections.
Have a good Monday everyone. Celebrations to all with happy occasions and gentle thoughts to anyone who is sad or feeling aloneTry and do a good deed every day.0 -

What a yucky one it is too!
Hugs to all those in need this morning - JackieO - Hope that you start healing soon - maybe once you're lying all snug and comfy in your new chair eh?
Both DD's are still in bed with stinking colds, I've retired back to bed with the laptop as I don't feel to clever either - burny eyes, sore throat, ear ache - oh joy! Have just phoned both DD's in sick at schools and both schools said they've been swamped with calls today - must be doing the rounds.
Need to clean the hoover out today - it's not picking up properly so will give all the filters a good clean too. Bathroom could do with a swish but that might get left until tomorrow.
Sausage cassarole from the freezer for tea tonight - I'm so glad that there's HM ready meals in there for when I'm feeling like this.
Hope you all have a great day."Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0 -

Morning all - still no news from the bank. Cannot believe I'm having so many problems with them over changing an address. It's really frustrating because I can't even go to the bank to withdraw cash over the counter like last time.
So today I'm going to take it easy again! Baby 1982 woke up really early to kick me so I went back to sleep later on and now I'm still in bed.£4000 challenge
