I actually seem to be getting something done today.. the whole downstairs is vacuumed.. I had hubby bring henry downstairs special.. it looks presentable.. in other words.. I wouldn't DIE if some estranged rellies popped over. Upstairs however is a whole different kettle of worms!! I really MUST get some flinging done up there.. I might call it my weekend task and get a few binbags off to the charity shop.

I can't decided whether to ebay the girls bridesmaid dresses.. I will ask them what they want to do with them later.. mines getting ebayed.. hideous thing!!!

Cuppa anyone while I S&S the kitchen?

Hi all, not really been flying this week. Keeping up with some bits but felt like having an unstructured week as I have had lots of errands to run outside of the home. I have skimmed some of the thread.

Lil_me good luck with the move

Hope everybody does well on there ebay sales, I have a bid on my item and lots of watchers. Hoping to list more this week.

I have also brought one christmas present which is nice to know I have broken the duck.

Hope to pop back later Dusty x

  • Hugs and hello's to everyone,

I have been doing my best to keep up with everyone's news nicki thanks for the link - although I will have to wait until next month now - I had a blow out and bought the rug for the lounge before it went out of stock...

I kinda got lost with the lists on master bedroom day :o I am still doing work up there (3 "heaped" baskets of ironing turned into 1 "flat" - although 1 load in td and another in machine) Although it all went pear-shaped that night, I was feeling ruthless (well I was trying) and suggested to DH that there was no point ironing an outfit of LO's because it was a summery one that probably would be too small come spring - and he PULLS THAT FACE that says "no" I was trying to make a start on the de-cluttering (since the "mess" is either stuff to be ebayed & packaging stuff or kids clothes that need to be sorted through for friends/rag bag/ or the loft if there is an "attachment" to them) oh, and the ironing :o If it wasn't for all that our room would be cool:rolleyes:

So needless to say I have been in a bit of a huff - he knows how hard it is for me to get rid of their stuff (because we are not having anymore) He has been on the phone and admitted he has been a bit of a plank the past few dasy - but then he had to go. Anyway sorry for ranting, tbh I can talk to OH about anything - but when he is the problem - there is nobody else.

Anyway not on the proper list but I have blitzed up and frozen a HUGE pot of broth, everything in DW so that I can make another huge pot of soup, tomato this time. BM is on dough cycle for pitta bread for kids to have with chicken and tomato couscous. I have also had the lovely task of having to empty the bokashi bin (3/4 full) and clean out, I accidently knocked the tap off last night - the liquid went everywhere - all the others are in use so I decanted into another tub. Cleaned and fixed the tap back in (it is at the bottom) and then refilled. Yuck.

OMG look at the time need to leave in 30 mins to get the kids and I have not been in the shower yet

I'm in need of a snooze.. might sneak to bed for half an hour when hubby gets in about half five.. I can't go out until 3am yawning like this.. I'll swallow someone!!

I'm at work today until 6 and won't get home 'til about 7:15, but am planning the hundreds of home things I need to get done tonight / this weekend...

Tonight: wash / dry one load of washing, put pile of washing away, wipe bathroom mirror / hall mirror as OH should have cleaned bathroom :D, couple of hours of AQA, make shopping list

Tomorrow: clean on top of kitchen cupboards, clean windows inside (maybe out, depending), monthly shop in Sainburys, batch cooking ahoy!

Sunday: As little as possible :) x

    lol, Man Flu!

Hubby is starting to come down with a cold, his bones ache and his eyes are burning and his muscles are shivering. I told him ' yea, I've had it all week'. But his BONES ACHE! and his eyes burn, and his muscles are shivering...

whatever, hes working till 9pm, then off for 4 days on his long weekend.

I told him I have his long weekend all planned.

He called my lazy last night too, I told him 'that's funny, an hour ago you just said how good the house is looking'. That shut him up!

Got to go get DS1 (grot bags)

DS2 (snotbags) has a dirty nappy, so best get going!
