On page 42 this week - no wonder I can't keep up! I have missed out the middle twenty pages, so please forgive me if I have ignored a comment or something!

I have seen the bottom of my laundry bag - and it's blue! It was just a fleeting glimpse before someone threw more washing in... and I have also cleared all of the pile on the bathroom floor as well. (There's this gap at the end of the bath where the laundry bag goes, and the space behind it tends to get stuff piled up when the bag is full...)

Visited my mother again yesterday afternoon. She's fighting the pneumonia, but very tired - understandably, so was asleep for all but a few minutes of visiting time.

I stayed home today, and after church this morning, and Sunday lunch, treated myself to a couple of hours in the garden. I cleared the old tomato plants from the greenhouse, and planted violas in two of the tubs, then swept the terrace - looks better now!

I've a couple of hours free tomorrow morning, so I'm going to do a little Flying, although maybe not to the list - the bathroom really needs cleaning.

The whole house seems to have been turned upside down after the German exchange, but I am not going to let it get to me - it will get cleared sometime! I have done the sittingroom - with help (insisted upon, not freely offered! Well, they are teenagers!).

    See you next week!

  • Congrats Shirley Park on the house news.

    Hugs tia for your afternoon.
...it is not of more importance than daily life, which I have an enduring wish to make as useful and beautiful as possible.

  • Well didn't do the weekend list but it did inspire me. OH was working this weekend so when I saw the :snow_laugChristmas list I thought I'd do some Xmas stuff. I've covered two shoe boxes for Samaritans Purse Operation Xmas and started to fill them. I've also made a total of 25 items and for my kids schools Xmas bazaar. :xmassmileThis is run by the school 'friends' group for the children to come along class by class to buy pressies at 50p each for all their family members. I love making stuff but it is so time consuming and makes such a mess so was glad to have this weekend to do it guilt free (as really not so much else to do!):rudolf:

    Thanks for the inspiration Pigpen!

Just clearing up my mess now. Looking forward to some good flying this week.

    Evening all

Just got back after a busy weekend, was in Portsmouth today and met over 1000 people at the event! Washing on, now going to catch up with everyone's weekend.

Ooh, just caught up, thank you so much for all the birthday wishes! Means a lot, especially since my best friend has forgotten my birthday :( She's really wrapped up in a new bloke at the moment so I guess she has other things on her mind.

Went to the theatre to see Sound of Music with my mum and aunt Sat, was amazing *grin*. Then worked today in Portsmouth, very tiring!

Washing has just finished, so in my inspired by this thread way I'm going to get it out and iron :)
