Morning all!
Michelle - we had an unusual lie in today - DS didn,t wake until 6.30 - yesterday it was 4.40!! - You think they will never lie in but they do - evetually - I now struggle getting the girls up at 7.30 on a school day!
Embb look out for my brother - he is doing the great north today - just
watching it on tv!
Not doing much flying today - making chocolate bread, cleaning out and sorting fridge and freezer and my pile of ironing
Hugs to everyone else xx0 -
still sat here in PJs. No point getting dressed to then put smart clothes on in a bit.
I have managed a few bits.- Just been sorting through clothes in the spare room - all charlie's new clothes have had tags cut off and folded ready to be put away in his room when he wakes
- any too small clothes on the ironing pile have been removed and folded ready to be boxed and put in the loft
I have also done one of those blackhead removing strips, and laid out the clothes for the christening, and all cos charlie is having a bit of a snooze. I will be grateful later as he will probably be a lot better mood-wise now.
toria i get the feeling i am a good few years from a decent lie in now, but i appreciate that idea.
well i suppose i had best start packing the baby bag for going out so that charlie wakes i will just have to feed him a bit of a snack then get us all ready.
DH is happy as he has made the car look nice and is looking forward to seeing people from work socially.
will be back later in amongst all the other jobs i shall be doing. hope you are all enjoying your sunday.
Michelle. x0 -
Morning all
Hope you enjoy the christening Michelle and don't feel sick at all
One load of washing done and hung outside. We had a few spots of rain but it didn't come to anything.
Made apple and blackberry tart for after lunch and I will bung that in the oven when the roast is nearly done.
DH has mended my indoor clothes line because it keeps fainting and the forecast for the week ahead doesn't look too good. There was a lot of swearing but I just kept out of the way!
Not much else planned - remade DD's bed with clean stuff and hung back up all the clothes she'd left out before going out last night. I know I shouldn't do it but I can't stand the mess. I should just leave the door shut0 -

Thank god hubby is off work, I have cought the cold thats been going about on this thread and can now say, POOR YOU!! It's horrible! Kids are waiting for me to loose my voice, but although I can't shout, I can still rant!
Not much been done apart from the daily upkeep. DS1 and hubby are away out fishing leaving my and DS2 alone with our germs. Keeping a close eye on DS2, sounds like the cough is breaking up, but thats been over 2 weeks now of 'proper' coughing. He's starting to look really tired again so may take him to GP tomorrow juts to get his chest sounded.
Well, morning is almost over, I pick up a bit in the afternoon, got a big glass of diluting juice, painkillers, coffee, a bowl of pineapple (thanks whoever said about pineapple helping, it tastes good if nothing else!) and a bit of malt loaf.
Then I will get on with some flying... no, I will do the dishes and watch telly! May as well enjoy being ill!
May as well read the thread see what you lot have been upto over the weekend, no doubt it will be smutty!

Evening Denise, morning everyone else, just
Going over house to sort decorator out, will vax one of the carpets at least while I am there, found mouldy food on it, yak! See what other cleaning I can get done aswell, the oven is vile but I might leave that for a bit as it'll probably take me at least a few hours.
embb I'd have come and joined you watching the GNR but the traffic is always awful, I've got to get the Chester Le Street and not looking forward to that as traffic started there last year, nice day for it however for a change.
Hope you all have a great dayhopefully catch up with you all this evening.
One day I might be more organised...........

Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb0 -
Hi everyone
Well half the freecycled bed collected! They couldn't fit the base and mattress in at the same time so are going to have to come back. Bit frustrating as they knew the measurements. Ah well I shall just have to do some ironing and watch F1 (taped earlier) while I wait for them to come back.
We started collecting Denby when we got engaged and asked for more when we got married. Our pattern is Harlequin and my friend next door has Imperial Blue so we can borrow each others if needs be; being the same shape and my harlequin having the same shade of blue means they can be mixed together without too much problem. Two sets for the price of oneOfficial Mascot and Chief Cheerleader for the 'Mortgage Free in Three' Gang0 -
Morning all. Up at 9am this morning  Damp washing out on the line, dry enough stuff in ironing pile :rotfl: Another wash load just put in the machine  OH & DD stripped her bed this morning, now OH is trying to get our old computer uptodate. 4 hours last night he spent on it, and another 2 hours so far this morning :rotfl:
Off out today to Wynsors to get DD some boots, going to get her 2 pairs, one for school (smartish black leather to keep her feet dry!) and some for the weekend (she's still on about getting pink suede Barbie ones  ). Not exactly moneysaving but definitely sanity saving :rotfl::rotfl:
Making stuffed chicken breasts with new potatoes and carrots for dinner. I think I'll throw some cakes together as well while I'm at it with the oven on. Need to make packed lunches and do the ironing - OH will start the ironing while watching "Meet the Robinsons" with DD when we get back from the shopsSo I might disappear into the kitchen to "bake" then :rotfl::rotfl: Laters
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -

I'm so angry, and not too sure what about... Hubby phoned me asking to make them (him, his mate and DS1) some lunch and bring it up to where they were fishing.
So I slaved in the kitchen, made snags and boiled eggs and cooked off some baguettes etc, thinking, me and DS2 can sit with them and eat lunch. But no... I am told there is nowhere for DS2 to sit. So I have to come home (to a messy kitchen now, thats still bloody boiling) and make even more lunch.
Well sod him, the kitchen will be left for HIM to do when he comes home and he can make bloomin dinner tonight too. he did very little yesterday, after he got up at 11am, even though I was like the living dead (still am, shouldn't have drove tbh, too dizzy).
And then I get a call from my Dad, his friend, a young girl (19), their horses are stable mates, has had a very bad fall off her horse at an Endurance Event (my dad was supposed to go, but was hungover) she knocked herself out after the horse spooked and reared. Her horse and my Dads are both young (6 and 7) and hers can spook very easily if my Dads is not there. So now he feels guilty, and has to look after two horses, and make sure she is ok.
And there is no bread, and I used up all the part cooked baguettes for them. I'm in a very big huff.
Happy Birthday to Pigpens son!0 -
