rach still sounds like a good day, even if most of your plans changed, I would have opted for dinner at home too, I hate really busy places, saying that I have been wanting to try a mexican from a restaurant for ages, started experimenting at home and I love the food style.

Michelle, hope you feel better in the morning, ((hugs)) from a reasonable distance just incase it isn't pregnancy induced.
One day I might be more organised...........

  • Morning

My DS alarm went off at 6:00 again, and i felt a bit more reasonable than yesterday so i thought i had best get up and not take advantage of DH's generosity of late as i will probably need more help at some stage today. Charlie has already got nearly all of his toys out, but i am a proud mummy as he has a fisher price piggy bank, and he is so proud as he can put the coins in it all by himself, and he has been making us both laugh by doing that a lot this morning. I love it when they learn something new.

So, apart from a cuppa and feeding the cats, i have not done much so far, but best start doing something soon as it will quickly get to 11 and we will need to be ready. I had best not leave DH too long as he wants to wash his car this morning before we go. He was about to do it last night when i felt grotty.

rach i have the denby imperial blue (the darker of the 2 blues) which was our wedding list stuff. we found we didn't get bought it all so we waited till the january sales, and picked up the rest at debenhams then. We also opened a debenhams card to save the extra 10%. You will be so glad that you pushed your point as it is lovely to use, although ours is in the wall unit and saved for absolute best at the minute and will stay so. It will be a long time until we allow Charlie to use it. I think it is a classic style and should be around a bit longer than the black stuff. Which is another reason to choose the blue.

Anyway, breakfast 1st i think, and then movement. I want the whole of downstairs hoovered before we go too.

    Morning all

Hope everyone has a good day today.

Just washed my dishes and there are 2 baskets of irons beckoning me and the kids want me to play with them. So should I ignore the ironing and play with the kids? Sounds like a plan to me but we'll see.

    Catch you later

    Morning Michelle

Thought I was the only one with kids that get me up at unearthly hours on a Sunday morning. Hope you're feeling better today and you manage to enjoy the christening. I know what it's like - there are only 20 months between my two.

  • Morning all, evening Denise. Grey and a bit chilly here today.Yesterday was spent out of the house. We went to the shops first and bought a new runner for the hallway from Lakeland which we're really pleased with, another thing I can tick of my medium goals list. Also bought a fab black duffel style coat from a charity shop as I need a new winter coat. It's originally from Top Shop and hardly looks worn so I was really pleased with that too. The afternoon was spent visiting DH's dad in hospital. Got home at 6.45pm.So not a thing got done here yesterday, even our dishes from tea are sat waiting to be done this morning.Today I need to do some ironing, wash up, meal plan for the week, do a shop, put WM on, help DS with his homework, email G, ring T.We're all going out for a walk later so would be good to get all sorted then I can just relax when we get back.Have also dug out my Christmas folder and am going to have a quick cuppa and see if inspiration will strike and I can decide on the cards DS will make for relatives this year.Happy Belated Birthday to Mushy Peas.Hope your're feeling better today michelle.I used to have the Imperial Blue Denby too. Love that colour!Have fun playing with the kids Julie
