Just popped in to say goodnight everyone, and good morning to Denise. Thanks Rach for including me in your summary - I feel all warm inside now as I feel like a true member of the group now.
Sorry I missed you Jill. Hope to see you on here soon, baby and other kiddywinks permitting. Can't wait to see pics of your latest arrival. I'm getting all broody now, with baby hedgehogs, baby pigs, baby rats and baby flyladies/boys (we don't know yet which Michelle will have). Hope you are doing well and that you are managing to get some time to yourself.
I'm glad you feel welcome here torianut. I've found everyone to be really nice on here too, and I can always guarantee that I'll laugh at least once a day cos of pigpen.
Off to bedski for me now.

Sweet dreams everyone (or not possibly for Solway ;) ).

    Good morning Denise :)

Goodnight to those off to bed, I will be soon aswell.

:j Ordered DS2s bed, no mattress included but was knocked down to £110 :D bargain, DS2s is nearly new so he can get the one off his new bed as the bed I want for him has one with it, decided against second hand as by the time I buy a mattress it will be more ££, don't like resuing someone elses mattress. Only nightmare might be making sure someone is at the house for when it arrives  especially if they give me one of those pathetic 7am-7pm slots, hmmm, will think about that later. Also ordered a few other things, some cute Pooh stuff for my friend when she has baby (saves me going shopping for it) scales and a drill set for DP as we have lots of DIY to do inc building beds, putting shelves up etc and now he won't have the 'my drill is broken' excuse :D see I am nice buying him things. Was all in the sale then found 10% off code, oh yes and the 4% or whatever it is via quidco :D came to about £150 for it all then the cashback few quid which is less than I was going to pay just for DS2s bed, well that is my excuse anyway. New things, new things, I like new things.....

Think I best go check off what is done from the massive 'to do before we move' list, see what I can do tomorrow, we do need to go to Newcastle at some point to the OU office to see what course to do next, I might sneak a peek in Ikea while we are there(more new things :D ) splitting the massive list over each day I think is really helping, much less of a mad dash.
One day I might be more organised...........

    Morning all

Had a good time at the theatre last night - wasn't what we expected but it was still good!

I want to try and get as much flying done as I can this morning as DS has a friend coming home with him when I pick him up at 1 and then I'm taking him back when I pick DD up at 3. Mind you they'll probably just trash the place so might not bother doing anything they're going to mess up again - ie his bedroom.

    Hugs to all

    Morning

No time for chit chat (yet) I need to post my mammoth list and get straight to it. Funny how I can't work without a list :D

Friday - those frightening Friday kids rooms and spare rooms
    Level One

Vacuum the floor, even if it's just where you can see
    Level Two
Clear away anything that isn't in it's place, clothes, toys, books etc
Dusting.. all those shelves and flat fluffy surfaces!! Don’t forget the light shade and curtain pole!!!
    Level Three
Strip beds and replace with fresh linen .. check if duvets need freshening up too
Sort through a cupboard/chest of drawers and get the clothes out which are no longer wearable, too small or out of season
Wipe any sticky marks off walls and doors
    Extra Task List
    • Wash a set of curtains, nets, duvet or throw
    • Time for the Friday Flylady Fling, in the toy box!!!! aim for 27.. if no toy box you’ll have to choose another area!
    • 30 minutes ironing
    • Get those uniforms and coats and things in the wash which you will need on Monday
    Deep Clean Challenge

Pull out the beds, furniture and clean all behind them.. the skirtings and light fittings and everything.. get rid of all the things that are no longer required!

    empty DW
    do dishes
    wipe benches
    hoover floor
    mop
living room - it looks like Christmas morning in there
    hoover
    hoover remaining floors downstairs
find and store DD2's summer clothes
hang up DD2's new winter wardrobe (courtesy of nana)
    go to P.O.
    ^^^^ find 2 envelopes

Will add anything else I do later, minds just gone blank.

    laters xx

Good morning everyone, so far 2 away to school and wm on. Have a full basket of clean clothes so plenty of ironing.laughing-smiley-014.gif
My sister is on her way up and we're going to try and look up family tree, which should be good (we only know as far back as grandparents).
Bit disappointed with ebay have only sold one item so far, after putting 19 on but a few more is being watched. So need to wrap up the one that has sold and post tomorrow. Hope BIL is down this week-end with hard drive of computer so i'll add more to ebayaction-smiley-033.gif ( i'm determent to get rid of the stuff we don't need).
Hope everyone has a good day. Now for a cuppa and a challege(sp) gonna do 30 mins, anyone up for one.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.
