Evening all, have done sweet FA all day so won't bother to post a list. DH has been around all day and then been out to mums, FIL came over this morning and put some mirrors and stuff so thats something done. Realised yesterday that everywhere looks bear so need to start making it homely. Took DS to my mums and then picked cousin up and visited gran - oh I did hoover and dust for her and change her bed, does that count?

Was supposed to be having cousin stop over tonight (the little girl who lost her mum) but shes been really upset at mums and decided to stay there as she feels safer there. So tears all round tonight and I was going to do something when I got it but after that feel a bit flat so going to veg out for a bit. Just waiting for them to pop round and collect her school stuff for tomorrow.

Off to watch The Restaurant, DH is out so I can slob out with come choccy in peace! Might pop back later to do myself a list for tomorrow to inspire myself lol x

Definitely one of those days where you chase your tail all day and get nowhere. Done nothing... except try to fix other people's problems. Probably good for my karma but lousy for flying. Never mind I'm done now and yes I can hear that bottle of wine calling to me from the fridge...I'm coming!

Well everyone, done a bit today not that anyone noticedrolleyes.gif . Wm in and have done 7 loads so farspeechless-smiley-040.gif but still have a full basket to do. Posted a few letters, made a few calls, tidied kitchen a bit eventho the old wm is stuck in the middle of the floor. Brought DD to her club, went for a walk. Took into a hot spot that was out of controll, sorted some bills.

Gonna have another early night tonight. The mess will be waiting for me in the morning.laughing-smiley-014.gif
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Sod all flying done, just come home from babysitting poor little mite fell and banged her head and had a right corker on the side (bruise came out instantly) about 10 mins before bedtime. After much consoling and help from big brother (7) we were calm enough to fall alseep, someones going to have a headache in the morning.....

Ive baked 32 cup-cakes, a double malteser tray bake, a load of flapjack and 18 hobnobs (another load to cook when im back from the pub) Which is where im heading now.... :D

Rach, glad you've been able to sort the wedding money out to an extent

thanks pigpen and aimee, bless her she was so worried she'd upset us she wouldn't tell us what was wrong but we guessed straight away, I thought she wouldn't settle as nightime is the worst time for her and this is a strange house to her. Explained to her that shes allowed to be sad and upset and we miss her mummy too and we will do whatever she wants to make her happy, she can sleep anywhere along as shes happy. Shes much happier now and just collected her stuff so hopefully the poor mite will get some sleep.

  • argh !!!!! I hate sealing walls with uPVA. The landing has now all been striped and the blown plaster knocked off, I should take a photo of the mess ! There is plaster and paper everywhere and everything upstairs is covered in dust. Thankfully the ratties are downstairs safe and sound and completely unaware of it all.

I don't think it's even worth attempting to dust up here until the plasterer has been next week. Then I intend to clear everything out upstairs and slowly decorate and clean.

I'm going to get realistic with my list and anything that can wait for another week is getting kicked off

New list with things which really need to be done before monday
    Sort paperwork in study
    Return form for voting
Put all the dirty dishes etc from around the house into the dishwasher, put on and then empty, think I might need to empty it first
    Put clean washing away
    Put dirty washing in basket
    Do washing on sunday
    Back up computer
Finish sealing plaster on landing and spare room
Clear the rat stuff and empty cages out of the spare room (no idea where they are going to go !)
Clear the tools out of the spare room
Remove books from the bookshelves on landing
    Clear up mess on landing
    Sweep floor in spare room
[strike]Contact person who is having the remaining 2 baby boys about collecting them from London[/strike]
    Confirm travel plans for saturday
[strike]Email show sec to get rats booked in for handover at show[/strike]
Take more photos of the babies and send to borderlakland
Finish off K's website - uploaded for approval
    Sort out finances
    Sort out bills
Do D's home check and send back homecheck form
