I'm always like this.. could be the pickling vinegar though?

Apparently (according to hubby who is ONLY a man after all) I am really weird because yesterday I painted the bathroom.. peeled 6lb of onions AND.. started knitting a sweater for Tiddles.. apparently 'normal' people don't do those things.. Aside from it being me we are discussing here.. is it strange for one person to do those 3 things???

(today I sent him to Aldi for loads of silicon baking trays/cake and loaf moulds.. and cake tin liners!)

Did I hear a cuppa being mentioned?? YES PLEASE!!

that playdough I made yesterday is still keeping them quiet.. I should have made some years ago!!
I think they're normal thinks to do. I'm going to get some onions to pickle from the market on Saturday and I re-did all the sealing round the bath today(which took me a couple of hours!) Last night make 3 apple cakes

Sadly no Adli near here YET- one is due to open in Hatfield which is a mere hop-skip -and-a-jump anytime soon.
  • My eyes are tired, too much staring at the computer at work and home. Need to do something else!

Nothing done off the list yet, but what isn't sorted tonight will get done tomorrow as my working week is over. :j

LJD- congrats to your daughter on her spelling success
aimee- enjoy all your socialising, the lists will be there next week!
kaz- what a pain about the car, hope it's all sorted now
pigpen- way to go with getting the loans/cards sorted
juliejim- hope you and hubby enjoy the show tonight

Another Grease fan here. I remember going to see it at the cinema when it was first released all those years ago and falling in love with John Travolta!

Right better go and do the washing up and fling the hoover around.

Hugs to those who need one and congrats to successful bakers!

    hello mad ladies...

pigpen please don't remind me how near christmas is...its then only one month til my wedding!!! aarrgggh.

update on my wedding money saga - i texted OHs mum and gaver her my mum's number just saying any help would be appreciated as funds are v tight. she texted back and said she's phone over the weekend...i wasn't been pushy she had said she wanted to speak to mum about it all.

need to fly but am oh so tired! going to pick something up from friends at about 7 and think i'll nip to sains and pick up smoked fish and parsley to add to the pie i'm making for tomorrow night. am quite busy tomorrow so think best to make it tonight and leave in the fridge - think it should be fine. really need to fly particularly in study..bathroom won't take long.

have now tracked £40 on quidco which is cool, oddly the national lottery is only 50p and should be £4 (i only did it last night) is that normal?

Funny that I just called into our 'new' bigger Aldi and looked at those - are they any good and do you still have to line them. (thought about getting some of the cake liners but there are only 2 in a box - were they reusable as well)

Yes they are great, I've had the muffin ones for years and they look like new.. yes the liners are reusable!!

Rach if you are daft enough to go booking these things in January what do you expect!! lol

Nearly newbie I can send hubby to buy you some if you wish and post them out to you? They are £3 each for the silicon moulds (2lb loaf tins, 10 inch round cake tins and 10 inch square sandwich cake tins) and £2 (I think) for the 2x reusable cake liners.. square and round!

we had weddings may 28th 2nd June July and one in October this year.. must be the year for it.. I laughed and said all we need is a funeral!!.. then realised a little too late it wasn't actually funny because that would mean someone we love dying.. adult size 13 my feet!!
