((tinselfairy)) that is awful news, my friend's parents have just been through something very similar and relocated to a bungalow. After the initial shock and the moving home etc they thankfully seem very happy now, hope your DHs parents manage to do the same and come through it with a smile. Thinking of you all.

**ignores pigpen's weekend list** :p well I might have a 'look' later, night night pigpen, hope you feel better when you wake up

  • Way behind on the Flying now and I don't spose I'll get any more done tonight coz I've still got lots of Avon to do (including sorting out all the wet brochures I collected today - yuk).

Oh well I started well at least!

    Have a good weekend everyone.

  • Excellent weekend list PigPen. :TSo many of those are just for me and would be a massive relief/achievement to get them done. Luckily too a couple I have already done so that encourages me even more to have a go.

I've had my first 2 nightshifts this week and seem to be coping pretty well, haven't been overdoing it daytimes though just to be on the safe side.;)

Hugs to those with worries of sick parents. I too know how stressful that is. Maybe keeping your flylady routines are even more important at times like those as keeping them up to date does make you feel so in control. I know that feeling of lack of control over my mums condition, especially as I live so far away, was the most stressful part.

    WEEKEND Frolics
    PLEASE FEEL FREE TO IGNORE!!
New one this week.. for those who have extra weekend time and can't function without tasks... lol If you don't have time or want to spend time with your family that is brilliant.. go for it. It is a list of 10 tasks to do over the weekend if you get chance.. no pressure at all.. just ideas!

This is also a chance to get hubby's and children involved in the flying ;)

    • Make a christmas card list .. do it on the pc so you don't lose it! Make a note of posting dates for friends/family overseas!
    • Extra 30 minutes ironing
    • Make sure you have everything ready for school/work for this week.. pe kits, socks, homework done etc.
    • Fill a binbag for charity shop or bin.. or better still do both!!
    • Photograph 5 things for ebay.. and if you have time get them listed!!.. Christmas money!!
    • Vacuum those places that you missed during the week, or worse, miss every week!!.
    • Do a D.I.Y. job, fix something you've been putting off forever!!
    Plus!

    Wash and hoover BOTH cars.
    Mow Lawn if its dry
Finish the wall in kids room
Get drawers back into kids room
    Start painting something from list.

    Painting list
    banisters
    bathroom ceiling
    bathroom door
    bathroom skirting
Clear varnish over hall skirting (that will teach you to use satin)
    Bottom half living room
Kitchen walls (its tiny, like 4 mt sq if its lucky!)
    Kids skirting
    Kids doors
    Our bedroom door, hall side

And finally my own personal challenge

1 kitchen cupboard a day (may leave this as week day work)
1 black bag of junk per day from our bedroom

I'm knackered, but feel great, and my wee house isn't depressing me anymore! Woohoo!

Thanks everyone for your support and encouragement and mindless banter about baldie balls!
