So basically tomorrow you'll blame the hangover on the fact that you've broken your glasses!;)

julie i am doing them with two friends, they make a lot of cards which they sell for our church community project so they are good. we spent almost 4 hours this aft and got 35 completed, though some of the work for all of them is done! i reckon one more afternoon will do it! part of the problem was that the only gold i could find was in a roll of wrapping paper so was v fiddly! anyway, am going to try the paper mill again on sunday as need to be near there anyway.

anyway, hope your head has improved pigpen, headaches are awful i know.

  • Pigpen, you forget I'm old and need my beauty sleep on a school night. We've booked some time off together in a week or so though ;) I'll have my fortnightly cup of coffee that day.. Go show that headache who's boss, don't have one for me though.
Russettred, glad you've enjoyed your first week flying, I love this thread too but spend longer reading and posting than actually flying these days.

I think its not too early to go to bed now so I'm offski. Have a useful day tomorrow all, good luck and hugs in various proportions.

:T you lovely, lovely people. x

Hope you're enjoying your hot chocolate and marshmallows Solway. Been waiting and wondering all day about how your next date went!

Rach- those invites are really lovely, remember to keep one or two spare to go in a memory box of things from your special day.

Hope all goes well tomorrow with starting to move lil_me.

Thanks for the weekend list pigpen, may have a bash at some of those on Sunday.

  • Rach - those cards look lovely. You've just reminded me I need to RSVP to a wedding invite I have, though I think they know I am coming as I'm doing their photos.

Tinselfairy and serena - huge hugs to both of you

Everyone else - have a hug just because

I am so peeved off at the solicitor. He rang me this morning to confirm that I wanted to complete on the house today, then didn't bother to call me to tell me whether or not it has completed !! So I have no idea whether or not the old mortgage is going to come out of the account on monday morning. So not impressed.

Tomorrow I'm off a rat show in Bristol, I am being picked up at 7am and no idea what time I'm getting back, so no flying for me tomorrow. Sunday will be spent making sure the last few bits are sorted ready for the plasterer to come in and then cleaning and tidying the rest of the house.

    Updated list
    Sort paperwork in study
    Return form for voting
Put all the dirty dishes etc from around the house into the dishwasher, put on and then empty, [strike]think I might need to empty it first[/strike]
    [strike]Put clean washing away[/strike]
    [strike]Put dirty washing in basket
    Do washing on sunday[/strike]
    Back up computer
[strike]Finish sealing plaster on landing and spare room[/strike]
Clear the rat stuff and empty cages out of the spare room (no idea where they are going to go !)
[strike]Clear the tools out of the spare room
Remove books from the bookshelves on landing[/strike]

    Clear up mess on landing
[strike] Sweep floor in spare room
Contact person who is having the remaining 2 baby boys about collecting them from London
    Confirm travel plans for saturday
    [/strike]
[strike]Email show sec to get rats booked in for handover at show[/strike]
Take more photos of the babies and send to borderlakland
Finish off K's website - uploaded for approval, amendments done, sent back for checking
    Sort out finances
    Sort out bills
[strike]Do D's home check and send back homecheck form
    Print out rehoming paper work[/strike]
[STRIKE] Start sorting through the stuff in storage cupboard[/STRIKE]

    And from pigpen's list
    • Make a christmas card list .. do it on the pc so you don't lose it! Make a note of posting dates for friends/family overseas! - while doing it, check birthday's left for this year
    • [STRIKE]Sort through the freezer[/STRIKE] (and cupboards).. what do you have loads of and what needs using first..
    • Meal plan for the next week and make a shopping list... based on what you found in the freezer
    • Fill a binbag for charity shop or bin.. or better still do both!!

I'm with you AnW, didn't want to admit to working in a bank when pigpen was angry!! I must admit though I do think a lot of the people at the call centres don't know what they are talking about! ( hope you don't work in a call centre!)

Rach those invites are amazing - I cheated and had mine made - did make my own favours though and it took me ages!

I knew you would be well enough to go to the pub pigpen - have a few for me! xx
