Thanks for the weekend list Pigpen - most of these are my weekend chores so feel quite happy about that. Coincidentally I had just thought that I am going to use up what I can from the freezer this week for a defrost next week.

Might even do the christmas card list to work out how many I will need and defo doing the ebay pictures.

Oh just done my pigsback - forgot those this week

  • Phew, that was a good guess on Thursday a.m. ten whole pages to get through..
Hugs to Serena and Tinsel and all of you who's OHs think you're lazybones and all of you for being curious about my date!

Chicken risotto was appreciated and he did the dishes.. That's not what you want to know is it? I know you lot..
It was a very late night/ early morning and not neccessarily for all the right reasons. Never invite an insomniac to stay on a school night. I'm shattered today, he wanted to meet up this evening but I said I needed sleep. How mean am I?
It was very nice, lovely infact. Ticks a lot of boxes as they say. Ahem.. Is that enough juicy gossip?

    Anyhow, moving on swiftly..
I like the look of the weekend list, I'm away tomorrow seeing my Mum for her birthday (reminds me she never did show her face on here, maybe just as well) and getting a haircut and girls night out-ing but I'll be back Sunday to [STRIKE]play[/STRIKE] do jobs.

Lil_me, exciting about getting the keys tomorrow and playing with all your new purchases!!
I'm most definitely not flying this evening, fit for nothing but jimjams, hot choc, laptop and cuddling the cats who are most put out still.

:j wohoooo sounds like you had a great night Solway, washing up  we've been together 10 yrs & my partner hasn't done that yet, swap ? :rotfl:

Managing to borrow pick up truck on Sunday to move the stuff from the shed to the garage at the new house, then we can sort getting that dismantled and collected. See I knew Saturday was the best idea :D I'm doing a packing mission with the boys in the morning to get some of their toys etc ready to go, some books aswell. Going to take a small tv/dvd player over and the playstation maybe to keep the kids occupied aswell when we're over there doing stuff. Last thing I need is bored kids when we're busy. Oh and it sorted of occured to me today that I have booked the Sky installation and we have no TV over there :o so need one to set it up at least.

I think today it actually hit me that we're moving and I've gone into panic/stress head mode! Trying my best not to 'flap' as my darling partner calls it, I got so anxious in Ikea today wanting stuff sorted yesterday but as DP pointed out until we get our things in we won't know what we need (apart from obvious like beds etc) what will fit in, he's being more sensible (and as tight as a kippers a*se!)

Suppose I should have a look and see what pigpen's weekend list has on it, see if any suggestions will help my cluttered brain.
One day I might be more organised...........

Thank you everyone, I really appreciate the support.

I've managed to read 7 pages, and caught up on some of the news. Congratulations Lil_me, I'm so pleased for you.

Hugs to Tinselfairy and family. Not sure of the situation, but is there really no hope of coming home?

All I've done flyladywise, is constant washing, and tumbledrying (rained all day) and the weekly shopping. I've now run out of places to put all the washing that won't tumble, so the rest will have to wait till tomorrow, when the priority will be school uniforms. I'll try to do a bit of cleaning, but have to buy some clothes for DS2 to wear on Germany trip (he seems to have grown about a foot since the start of the summer holidays, and nothing fits!) and make a casserole for the evening.

    Have a good weekend!
