I managed to buy a couple of paperbacks in Mr T yesterday for mothers' christmas pressies (2 for £7) - The Cat Counsellor (understanding your relationship with your cat) as they both love cats.

The Book People are great for book bargains, they sometimes do £10 for 10 books type of deals. If anyone wants to give them a try and I recommend you I'll get a kick back of £5 (I think!) There are no ties at all. :)

thanks pigpen and aimee, bless her she was so worried she'd upset us she wouldn't tell us what was wrong but we guessed straight away, I thought she wouldn't settle as nightime is the worst time for her and this is a strange house to her. Explained to her that shes allowed to be sad and upset and we miss her mummy too and we will do whatever she wants to make her happy, she can sleep anywhere along as shes happy. Shes much happier now and just collected her stuff so hopefully the poor mite will get some sleep.

Poor mite, W has been sleeping with me as he misses Daddy hence us ordering the new bed (easier to get out of in the middle of the night if he needs to) to try and get him in a more positive frame of mind. But I agree whatever makes them happy is ok with me :)

Changed a few more addresses with companies etc, costing me £22.50 to change the 3 dogs details on PetLog! I don't mind paying for a service but changing the 3 dogs details took her all of seconds, doesn't seem right to charge so much for what takes so little time.

It might be worth getting a mail redirection with the PO for 3 months (can't remember the fee) it would take the pressure off while you are busy boxing and moving, then you still have time to contact the companies that don't always spring to mind

AnW'smum.. if you work for the ShAbbey.. I MAY have to permanently exclude you!! It was only that bank I had an issue with on that particular day.. I swear they drug half the staff to make them appear dim.. I also bank at tsb AND alliance and leicester and they seem MENSA material by ShAbbey standards!!!

So basically tomorrow you'll blame the hangover on the fact that you've broken your glasses!;)

I don't get hangovers.. is this a 'hang-under' then?? seeing as I have headache before I go out? AND I never broke the glasses.. Tiddles snapped the arm in half.. about 10 minutes after hubby broke his and while I was gluing them back together!!

    So far I have...

Cleaned a kitchen cupboard (got nice new dishes!)
    Tidied Kitchen a bit.
Looked sternly at wet washing and commented that it needs to dry.
Looked sternly at Kids bedroom and commented on Big Plans.
Looked sternly at Master bedroom and despaired.
Looked sternly at under stairs cupboard and quickly shut door again.
Asda shopped (did I mention my nice new dishes?)
Used a full box of tissues on DS2's nose.

    Productive.

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Sounds just like me!

Well I have some good news. I went into town, and went to Zizzi, and I got my wages from that trial shift, complete with a payslip showing how much tax I was charged, so hopefully I'll be able to claim this back at some point as I don't expect to be earning as much as my allowance for a while.

Excellent :) took them long enough though, should have given you extra for all those chasing phone calls/visit you made
