Hi all
Thanks for the hugs. I am still not right but am so grateful I had the flu jab as I am nowhere near as poorly as others.
Dd will shop today.
House is a tip. Piles of laundry and kitchen mess everywhere. Oh well. Maybe tomorrow. At least filth is free.
Take care all. Good luck ziggy xx

Great news about the flat, KatyAnn & the payrise, PrincessPea.
Ziggy - not so good. What a worry. I can really empsthize with you as I was worried sick about my scans/tests at the end of last year. Re the falling.....do you think it could be an inner ear problem? I have had that in the past (labyrinthitis) & as well as getting dizzy spells/vertigo, you can just topple over because your balance just totally goes. It is scary when it happens. I do hope you will be ok & am sending love.
Mr f arrived home from work early, hoovered upstairs & helped me make the guest beds up for the wee2025's challenges: 1) To fill our 10 Savings Pots to their healthiest level ever

Sorry.....phone playing up....that should say 'weekend'!
Managed to get the marmalade made - 15 big jars & 2 small. Just need to knit like crazy for the rest of the day but mr f has said he will cook dinner. He also swapped me a £5 note for 2 x £2 coins (which he saves in his sealed pot) & some shrapnel so I am up on the deal.
More stuff: Postie brought me some squash seeds from a kind person. Then I had a text from a company to say I didn't win a packet of their beansprout seeds but one of the winners didn't respond so they are sending that prize to little me!
No downstairs heating on yet, though cat will start making demands any minute!
Cheers all,

* Kids got free breakfast at school
* Gym done and refilled my water bottle there
* Washing on a quick 30 degree wash
* Check banking/update spreadsheets
* Check fpl/lukcyphone/numberplate
* All meals from stores , kids having leftover meatballs & pasta. We are having leftover slow cooker curry will probably do some veg to go with it.Blitzed half a small cauliflower, so I'll have cauli-rice with mine and dh can have normal rice
* Take the kids to their swimming lessons tonight, take a snackfrom home for them and will leave my purse at home
* Tidy out the fridge and make sure nothing is on the turn. will use some natural yogurt with dessert as its been open ages,
* Clean out the fruit bowl, we've got kiwi's in there that no one is eating so need to get creativeGot some apples/berries out of the freezer, will chop in the kiwi and make a crumble
* No heating on until the kids are home, need to do a radiator shuffle before it goes on too,
Will add more as I go.
Have a good day all.
Continuing on my use up in all areas of the home
* Cleaned my glasses with some fancy spray that once used up won't be replaced (dh bought it years ago and its been sat in the back of a cupboard)
* Cleaned all the computer/tablet/tv screens with another of dh's fancy sprays from yrs ago, another thing that won't be bought again
* Used some of an old bottle of perfume, its my fave one and I'd only use it before on special occasions but i'm aware the fragrance isn't seeming to last long when I put it on so I am making the most of it now
* Applied make up, (again something I don't often do but I have lots of it so am making an effort to use it up) I had two make up bags as I had one in my gym bag, but I have put everything together, and just selected one of eyeliner/lipstick/mascara/eyeshadow into the other bag and that is the bag I am working on. Otherwise I end up with lots and lots of things started but not finished
* Room fragrance, I've sprayed everywhere (its something that was left in our rental property again something to use up not buy a replacement)
Really pleased with my list today
Also done
** Was going to do custard with the crumble but decided to serve with OOD natural yogurt instead, put a big spoonful in the bottom of each dish and then put the crumble on top, the kids don't like the yogurt on its own (they like it on wraps when having fajieta's) so told them to mix it in. They all enjoyed and plenty left for me and Mr 1LL
** One son has a play date tomorrow and the other asked if his usual friend could come over next week, I've invited him over tomorrow instead as it will keep him occupied, I can use up the last 4 potato waffles and part bag of nuggets (one of the only things his friend will eat) also means that next week can be a friend free zone!! (I'm such a bad mum!:o:D)
** Families lunches made for tomorrow
** I kept a portion of the kids tea (meatballs) back for my sis after work but she already had something prepared so I will have that as my lunch tomorrow
* Managed nsd number 11 of the monthSticking with the "Small things" thread to keep up us on the straight and narrow.

hey guys checking - looking at my list I didn't get very far! Today has not gone to plan as was told at 4.30 that my services for the OT I have been doing is no longer needed (new person has started) in one way I am glad because I want the time back and on the other it's 2 shifts I've lost so about £140
just goes to show I shouldn't count my chickens!
ziggy what a horrid experience for you. I'm so sorry and hoping for the best outcome :A

Evening everyone :hello: :coffee:
Ally, hope you're enjoying the spa and fingers crossed for interview.
Ziggy - how terrifying for you. I really hope that you feel better soon.
Katy_ann, congratulations on the new home
Maria - feel better soon
Been awol for a couple of days - just too much to do and not enough time to do it. DS has had a couple of evening training sessions for football and it's been late finishing followed by straight to bed.
To be honest, this month has turned out to be quite difficult emotionally on a number of levels and I'm finding it a bit hard to just keep going. I won't bore you with it all - it's nothing serious, just lots of little things that are getting to me. I'm tired and run down as well, with a bit of a cold hanging on. Ah well - still a few weeks until half term (4 to be precise).
Today has been a nsd (has to be as we're so skint and payday still a long way away) and I got lots done at work - yay! Finally getting an evening of a bit of feet up time before bed and really hoping for a good night's sleep tonight.
Got all my daily jobs done but not a lot else to be honest. This week is just about surviving...Not giving up
Working hard to pay off my debt
Time to take back control

Evening all
Congrats to Katy Ann on the flat purchase, very exciting
Ziggy, I am so sorry you had such a horrible day, hope you have good news very soon xx
For me today:
Mainly dealing with DS's dog, who barked, howled and whined for hours after he left this morning, and wouldn't settleThankfully he has settled down now, and is asleep on the sofa. OH and I took both dogs for a walk, and it was really difficult as he is really big and strong and pulls dreadfully. He hasn't been used to walking on a lead. I wouldn't be able to manage him on my own. I don't know what bedtime will bring  We live in a terraced house, so I will have to apologise to the neighbours about the racket this morning
Thankfully, DS will be back tomorrow afternoon - but he has to go away for work on Sunday (new job). The only easy part is he is nice natured, and fine with our little dog, who desperately wants to play with him.
Apart from that:
Shopping in Mr S - I am shocked at how much some prices are rising  Have others noticed it? Butter was particularly noticeable today - £1.40 for own brand  Until recently it was under £1. I notice they don't stock their value butter anymore eitherI know Sainsburys aren't the cheapest... more trips to Lidls needed I think. If only you could get everything there, it is such a pain having to go to both!
Picked up a couple of free boxes from Mr S (for ebay packing)
Packed and posted 3 ebay sales
Used a free stamp from RM surveys for one small item :T
2 more items sold today so far, and they are both things that have been relisted more than once, so pleased about that!
Listed a few more things
HM meals
A few surveys
Heating has been on, and I have eaten too much of the wrong things, so not doing very well on either moneysaving or healthy eating todayMust try to do better tomorrow!
