    Ziggy, sorry to hear about your day yesterday, sounds very frightening. Big hugs.

    Cheery, I recommend Resolver tool, its so easy to use and I've had several issues sorted using it :)

    Ally, Have a lovely day at the spa.

    Its been a productive start to the day as the kids woke up without me having to drag them out of bed so we got lots done before the school run :)

    Todays list
    * Kids got free breakfast at school :)
    * Gym done and refilled my water bottle there :)
    * Washing on a quick 30 degree wash :)
    * Check banking/update spreadsheets :)
    * Check fpl/lukcyphone :)/numberplate :)
    * All meals from stores , kids having leftover meatballs & pasta. We are having leftover slow cooker curry will probably do some veg to go with it. :)Blitzed half a small cauliflower, so I'll have cauli-rice with mine and dh can have normal rice :)
    * Take the kids to their swimming lessons tonight, take a snack :) from home for them and will leave my purse at home :)
    * Tidy out the fridge and make sure nothing is on the turn. will use some natural yogurt with dessert as its been open ages, :)
    * Clean out the fruit bowl, we've got kiwi's in there that no one is eating so need to get creative :)Got some apples/berries out of the freezer, will chop in the kiwi and make a crumble
    * No heating on until the kids are home, need to do a radiator shuffle before it goes on too, :)

    Will add more as I go.

    Have a good day all.

    Continuing on my use up in all areas of the home
    * Cleaned my glasses with some fancy spray that once used up won't be replaced (dh bought it years ago and its been sat in the back of a cupboard)
    * Cleaned all the computer/tablet/tv screens with another of dh's fancy sprays from yrs ago, another thing that won't be bought again
    * Used some of an old bottle of perfume, its my fave one and I'd only use it before on special occasions but i'm aware the fragrance isn't seeming to last long when I put it on so I am making the most of it now
    * Applied make up, (again something I don't often do but I have lots of it so am making an effort to use it up) I had two make up bags as I had one in my gym bag, but I have put everything together, and just selected one of eyeliner/lipstick/mascara/eyeshadow into the other bag and that is the bag I am working on. Otherwise I end up with lots and lots of things started but not finished
    * Room fragrance, I've sprayed everywhere (its something that was left in our rental property again something to use up not buy a replacement)

    Hi all, sorry I've been AWOL for a few days! I've been so busy with DS and some exciting news! I haven't said anything on here as I didn't want to taint it but....myself and my OH went to view a flat a few weeks ago which we loved, we put in an offer which got accepted and yesterday we got the news that our mortgage had been accepted! There is no chain either side so we should be looking at it moving quite quickly now! This is fantastic news for us and were really looking forward to having our own space!

    Anyways my list for today:

    - NSD
    - Try and sell some of DS's old clothes on FB/Gumtree/Ebay
    - Check bank accounts
    - B/L/D from home
    - My Mum is coming round to see me and DS so I will make her lunch here

    I think that's about all from me, I hope everyone is OK and I will catch up on everyones posts here during the day! x

    Yes, we've been living with my OH's parents for 3 years whilst we've been saving for a mortgage deposit! However in those 3 years I cleared my debt, got married and had a surprise baby! So its taken a little longer than planned!

  • Hi everyone,

    I haven't posted for a couple of months so it's lovely to see you all here. I'm really struggling this month and have had to raid £100 from the mortgage savings pot to see us through until pay day (when I'll pay it back!). I always find January a struggle.

    All meals from stores and have brought lunch to work with me (first time in a while :o)
    Will walk home from work tonight
    Will do some surveys (can cash some vouchers in) and FPL
    Prep for a conference I'm going to next week in sunny Scotland!
    Watch a DVD I got for my birthday tonight
    Push the hoover round when I get home
    Light the candles and snuggle under a blanket - my daily hygge fix

    Some good news on the job front - I'm finally getting put up to the next pay grade. It's only taken nearly nine years! It's nice to finally be recognised as making a worthwhile contribution at work :)

    Hope you all have a good week :p
