Thanks.
It does say once you reach redemption date, send your latest bill.
So that is what I am doing.
I just thought I might have read something different here.
I must have imagined it.
How have you got on with your cash back from them so far?

My wife needs a new phone so if all is well with m2yd I will get the Prada I think.

No problems at all. Any time there's been a hint of a problem I've dealt with it swiftly and easily and found them extremely helpful. I am taking the people I look after there now instead of cpw - although I still get contracts for myself with either. Having said that things change all the time (cpw is the model of that!) so I'm never complacent, always have a back-up plan and watch like a hawk.0

Mobilekunkie. I have just finished 12 month contract with e2save. Problems at the first cashback, followed ORIGINAL t&c's to the letter, successfully sued for the lot via MCOL. Question is where now? Given your vast experience in these matters, I take it from your posting that you are still using e2save and also using m2yd - is this correct? if so why? Any others I should consider?0

Yes. Because I know how to play the game successfully. In fact, mistakes are usually in my favour. Only other cpw companies. When ordering for those who place their trust in me I now use Mobiles2yourdoor in preference to cpw.0

RE CPW/O2 - Instead of the usual"Good news - your chequeback claim is approved....""This message is to confirm that we have received your claim. A response to your request will be given in 21 days. Redemptions Dept.""Cheap", "Fast", "Right" -- pick two.0

You're referring only to cpw itself. The satellite sites stopped using texts a long time back (those that did in the first place, that is!). I wouldn't worry one jot about any of their wording anywhere except in the original and correct t&c you signed up to. Provided you DO know EXACTLY which and what those are, complied with them and can prove it what does it matter what they may say? I stopped listening to all the fluff nearly a year ago when they went of the rails. It's designed to take your eyes off the ball. Keep them focused and you will score, either with a direct shot with (possibly) a little dribbling or (if they play foul) a penalty. I even got a bonus with a free kick recently from my end of the pitch - but that's another story!0

hello - my contract with e2save (with O2) is up at the end of August - so i'm hunting around for new deals now.... I've been on a 100% cashback deal with e2save, and have had no probs whatsoever (even when I sent the wrong o2 bill back once - but, sent the proper one in time) e2save haven't offered anything too good at the moment (all offers are on 18mo contracts) - I've looked at the samsung e840 deal on m2yd - 12months free cashback (700mins/250txts - 12 mo contract)- if I go with quidco I get £55 for signing up and if I then sell the samsung I can get at least £25 (thru envirophone) - not bad profit..... The question is, when is the best time for me to do this dealing? When do I ring e2save again and ask for a better deal from them AND if they can increase their deal, is it worth risking e2save for another 12 months?
I've read through a lot of this thread and it is superb.... - cheers guys for your help so far....0 -
I always grab the deal not the time. I never renew with cpw for several reasons, although a couple of my people have without problems. I also never have gone for a contract longer than 12 months. Of course, only you can really answer those questions.0

Maybe another update is required regarding E2Save. It seems people are now confused over contracts which appeared briefly around March with automatic cashbacks followed by the usual claims.
I think it worth saying this again; if you can't find or don't clearly understand the t&c at the point of sale, copy them and/or print them out at the point of sale and know this company inside out, don't go ahead with contract unless you're prepared to have problems and potentially lose your cashback. BEFORE even considering a deal, do a LOT of research for a long way back about them and Onestopphoneshop. It is still possible to get a deal through properly - but they are plainly intent on stopping as many people as possible by deception and bluff.
Remember too that they used to be a superb, reliable company - the best. Therefore what has happened with them can always happen to anyone else who is currently reliable and fair. If you think I am exagerrating, just do even a bit of reading on the various E2Save and Onestopphoneshop threads. You shouldn't need me to convince you.0
