It depends on your contract. If you have one contract for TV, b/band, phone and line rental, you can cancel the whole package.
If you have 2 contracts; one for TV and one for b/band/phone/line rental, you would only be able to cancel your b/band, phone and line rental.
Sky will confirm but I would check your contract(s) (assuming you still have them) as Sky often make mistakes.
I thought Sky was always separate contracts? I renewed in December so there's no paperwork, I can't see anything obvious online either.
Look on Mysky or phone sky and ask.
When I said I checked online I actually meant my online account, the prices are listed individually for a total package price but then it's always been like that? I'l wait and see what this price rise is and see where I go from there.
Edit: In fact it's possible that I'll be moving house by then anyway and with BT's present deals at least I could get unlimited fibre for little more than I'm paying for ADSL right now factoring in the £125 card offer on Uswitch.
Come on Sky, put the prices up high enough
It depends on how your bill is made up. Free items stay free, but half price ones go up by half the price increase, 75% off ones up by 25% of the increase.
Others have thought that the price quoted was fixed, but it was only the actual discount fixed and the T&Cs allow them to increase prices.
I'm not surprised that their prices will rise as phone and /or broadband normally go up near the end of the year , but this time the new combined price thing came in, allowing a sneaky unannounced price rise over most providers, for new customers, so now is everyone else's turn . TV prices tend to rise in the summer.
