You can definitely FOI the surgery.

    https://www.gov.uk/make-a-freedom-of-information-request/organisations-you-can-ask-for-information

Ask for all correspondence with PE in setting up the contract, an unredacted copy of the contract, an unredacted client handbook (which details the parameters for client cancellation of PCNs), and the procedures of due diligence performed by the surgery in contracting with PE, including the competitive tendering procedure, who else was invited to tender, how the Sec of State's Guidance on NHS car parking provision was considered and applied.

I think that Practice manager will be needing the Valium when having to deal with that level of required detail.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

You need to tell them that you require a full unredacted copy of the contract, and you will be making a formal claim for it under the Freedom of information act if they will not provide it, you must also tell them that they are Not able to claim commercial justification for withholding it

I will email her now and see what they come back with. Thank you

hang on , put your letter on here for critique and fine tuning

state the reason for the request in case "she" has a boss , and tells him "porkies " your email can be used at a later date

So shall I copy and paste this to here but number the points and ask her to get this information from her manager?

I would say that if I knew what the hell I was talking about! If it goes to court I will find out how to counterclaim

Don't worry about it, most people find it daunting

We had a case on here last year regarding a lady in a wheelchair.
Whilst not a NHS problem, it was a holiday beach. The parking company, Smart Parking who behaved so badly towards her but in the end she won.

Parking Eye are also one of these inhuman companies.

There are plenty of great people on here that will help you every step of the way so you will not be alone and YOU WILL WIN.

I agree with everything that coupon-mad and Redx has said

    I agree with Umkomaas ....
"I'd book an appointment with a senior doc and tell him/her exactly what is pushing your stress levels off the Richter and ask for either medication or cancellation."

"PE have no place on primary care premises"

pappa golf is correct in that the car park park waiting time bears no
reflection to sitting in a waiting room just waiting and waiting
    A NHS SEVERE PROBLEM.

    And I agree with Half_way ...
Sophia, who I assume is the manager, has lied to you again.
To ask you to look at the AA web site is total and utter rubbish
All other points raised by Half_way are correct

You need to understand that you have been told a blatant lie that PE cannot cancel because of a "correct timeframe" as it has been passed to debt collectors ..... Parking Eye do not pay debt collectors, the debt collectors work on a "no win no pay" basis and as such Parking Eye has full control every step of the way.

Sophia is clueless and she needs to be re-trained or given the position of a tea lady ...... that's about her mark

Clearly you are struggling with this so I would suggest you direct to the senior manager/doctor of this practice to this site and thread
    which is .....

    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5583307

It may well demand a severe complaint to Jeremy Hunt about this surgery as they are clearly not in the interests of a NHS patient

Give them one last chance to get the ticket cancelled and to confirm changes to the car park.

I am certain that one us, myself included will contact Jeremy Hunt
about his failing NHS and a direct pointer to your surgery

No, you don't send it directly to the practice, you raise it formally. It would possibly need to go to NHS England (unless there's a local/regional health board covering your surgery) which will ensure there is a formal audit trail to your request and that deadlines are adhered to.

Have a read of this website, do some searches and see if there are similar questions raised. Get a feel for how questions are framed. Put a draft up here and we will hone it to hit the right nerve ends at your practice.

This doesn't need to be a knee-jerk job, take a bit of time to get your head around things.
