Google and download the memo they must have missed, which means they are letting their patients down and exposing them AND STAFF to a notoriously greedy and litigious company:
Health Technical Memorandum 07-03: NHS car-parking << Google those words.
Ask, why did they breach that clear will of Government and let PE in and when does the darned contract expire? Tell them if they renew you will report them to the DCLG.
Also, if not resolved to your satisfaction, you might want to contact these journalists who are interested in ParkingEye at NHS car parks
HTH
Thank you so muchI will wait to see what she comes back with and if they still persist with sending me letters I will email those journalists for sure!
She was very reluctant to tell me the car park was leased by the council but it was in fact the surgery who employed PE. She did keep saying that all
She can do is write to them but has no power to do anything else. In the emails between her and PE they state that it's too late to cancel it as it's past that stage, so why hasn't it already gone to court?
Again, thank you all for your input0 -
there is probably a clause in the contract that forbids court action (aldi?)
otherwise this would have been in the courts a long time ago , they use equita when they are stuck , but think that someone will be frightened by debt collectors lettersSave a Rachael

You are probably right. I did ask for a copy of the contract but she said she was not allowed to provide it0

Now you are getting to grips with this and hope you are having fun, if the manager will not provide a copy, maybe she should understand that if it goes to court, you will include her and the surgery to provide the contract in front of a judge.
You have had the hassle so return it big time.
Nobody wants to go to court0 -
looking at the signage (car park at side?) on streetview , I think they would struggle with signage if it went to courtSave a Rachael

Hey guys, I just had a call from the senior manager saying he had a message to give me a call( I wasn't expecting a call back from anyone). I explained the situation and he asked whom I'd spoken to previously at the practice and I told him and told him I'm willing to go to court over this if they do t stop hassling me. I said that I've done a lot of research and that he has the power to cancel this ticket and any future tickets that are given to patients under these circumstances, and unlike his colleague yesterday agreed with everything I said nit to worry as he will get this sorted for me!!!!!
To me it seems that this big boss is the one who knows the truth behind the contract but is telling his staff a pack of nonsense! I will be calling this afternoon to request copies of all correspondence between himself and PE also:D0 -

The female manager just called me back and said there was a misunderstanding from her manager and that it is her job to deal with PE. She said that she's waiting to hear back from PE and will let me know ASAP. When I informed her that they would have to come to court with me if this is not sorted out she simply said they have had a few patients from the surgery taken to court from PE and they have never had to attend. I can't believe that this is a regular thing with their own patients yet they continue to use PE.0
