Babysitting dgs4 while Biggest goes to parents evening. She has given us dinner, spaghetti bog, so I will not have to cook when we get home. It’s been a strange day at work, 7 new jobs in, 5 collected, and some ribbons etc sold. Considering the weather is foul that’s not bad and I was able to bank £170.
The Old Electric companies refund also arrived in the account today.
I had a very strange job to do this afternoon adding 6 zips to the back of a man’s trousers! It takes all sorts I suppose. Black Watch tartan trousers now with great big zips all down the back of the legs!
I didn’t get much else done around fittings and serving in the shop. I left just after 4pm once I had vaccumed.
I think that I will have an early night tonight. I am tired. I don’t like grey days I just want to curl up in my duvet and listen to my hypnosis tapes.
Tomorrow is my day for Mum. M, food shopping at Aldi.
I have managed to stay out of the shops since last Wednesday, which is great for me. I did have to buy milk this morning for the Shop, and got two x 4pinters for £2 in the co-op, so I have cheated and brought one of them home. But I can live with that.
Twin 1 is asking about Christening dgs5 and Dgd at the same time next April. Should be interesting and it will mean a trip to Kent.

2nd Electric company returned my funds today. The first one also sent the refund -Again! So I expect them to call it back tomorrow!
I used the various Mr T vouchers to do my food shopping today, and only had to spend £6.11 after they had been used. My shopping was definitely dearer then Mr A would have been. I couldn’t bring myself to get the pasta as the price in A is 40p and there it was £1 for the same amount.
I also paid for a poppy on my way out, and had lost it before 2pm!!
I did a mini blitz around the house before shopping and collecting Mum to take her out to lunch.
So the bathroom was clean, the kitchen was blitzed and the front room started before I ran out of time. When I got home I changed my bedding and searched unsuccessfully for the coax aerial to be able to watch TV in the work room. We had an early tea, as I thought it was a lot later than it is! Oops.
I am having a cuppa and considering going for a soak in the bath and change into my comfy pjs but BF is supposed to be going to come over so not sure if I should really, but certainly don’t fancy putting proper clothes on!

    Mum lost hers too!

Bath with cuppa, scented candles and erm a book? Well one on my iPhone anyway.
Feeling a little more relaxed. Although I think that I am probably just procrastinating!
I should be pottering around in my work room and aiming to turn some fabric into something of value that I can sell!
I need to find a way to up the household income, a side hustle as Mfint says.
I possibly should also have spent the time culling my wardrobe etc!

I watched a TED talk on procrastination yesterday and can relate to it 100%.

    Depression
    Stress
    Tears!
No exact reason why. Just woke up like it.

    No staff, no motivation.
    Kettle back on then!
    Search for some motivation

We had a power cut for an hour between 10ish and 11 something. So got very cold. But I decided to watch some motivational, inspirational and go getter videos running on the phone beside me while I did preparations etc for the power to come back on.
I was slow and steady today. Not much money earned or in but I was relieved it was fairly quiet.
My 5.15 appointment arrived early, so after she went I could have gone straight home, but I decided I needed to tackle the next job which was a memory cushion from a man’s shirt.
It’s done now. I hope it will fit the brief, as they wanted it to still look like a shirt. So button placket is the cushion Centre, then I sewed one of the sleeves across as a pocket, and added the collar into the top seam, along with the embroidered badge on the left breast pocket area.
I can go home now, Dgd is going to tea and play with her little friend we see a lot of.
Bf is out running! Rather him than me.
I put a casserole in the thermal bag when I got up, so no need to cook when I get home.
    That will make things easier.
Tomorrow is another day I will be here on my own.
So I will do the same thing and listen to YouTube!
