90 day review due at the end of the week, so a perfect time for me to assess the accounts etc, and make sure that I keep on track.
Old energy supplier just admitted that they estimated the final reading and have amended accordingly and will be refunding me £108.51p within 5 day’s.
Now if the new supplier can return some of the money they took without my agreement I will be a happy customer. Let’s see!

My task today is to babysit dgs4 while Biggest goes to the opticians then take Mum to lunch.
I have been shopping to Aldi and got my fresh shopping and cleaning materials etc came in at £27.39 and included £3.75 for coke for Mum.
So I am happy with that.

I will look into that tomorrow x

I am really tired tonight and my bones ache. Guess I forgot my golden Paste this morning.
I have ordered capsules this time to be able to take them around with me.
Mum and I had a mooch in the charity shop just before we came home, and we picked up some beautiful embroidered tablecloths, Mum said that I should work my magic and turn them into something else. Must be worn out because I cannot think what at the moment.
I have cancelled BF coming over tonight as I want an early night and to be able to just dress in a cosy night wear and slippers etc.
Just fed Dgd, she’s playing Minecraft downstairs on the PS3 and I have retreated to my bedroom and the TV, my gadget and my note books!

So after an early night, my golden Paste, heat gels and the like I managed better today. The meeting at the school took 45 minutes but the new headmistress is now up to speed with Dgd and our unusual situation. I got to work just before 10am. Biggest opened up and was removing the Halloween stuff from the windows.
We had a rush job for a chap going to a wedding at lunchtime, and then at 11 I had the first of my two sewing classes.
After lunch I then had to tackle my Repairs pile!
    I stayed until 5.30 to play catch-up.
I spoke to the new power supplier complaints team as they sent me a letter and I got straight through to them. My DD is being reduced to £100 and they are refunding me £174 which is due to reach my account in 3 days.
They also have credited my account for £30 for the inconvenience.
    Result.

I am going to try hard to keep on top of things and keep an eye on how to make things more profitable.
I am not going to go running with my tail between my legs. I am going to find a way to turn things around for our future.
I am pleased to see Matrix Girl is posting on her blog again and am feeling more revived and will try to get my frugal head on, and I will try again to tackle the challenges I had set earlier in the year etc and let go of.

Hopefully the refunds will be in the account Monday or Tuesday.
Friday saw Biggest re-arranging the fabrics that we were given, and I took one lovely silk taffeta piece home and cut out a waistcoat to make up in the week. There is still about 5m of it to get creative with.
Dgd was collected from after school club by my friend and went to tea and play etc so BF and I went out to a local Indian restaurant for a change on Friday. We actually talked about my Shop etc etc something we rarely do!
    Yesterday was a teaching day!
The First Lady has a lesson on reading patterns and what information they have on them etc, and has booked 3 more lessons as her work will pay her £100 for improvement courses. Brilliant for me as she paid for all 4 lessons yesterday.
Lesson two was a get to know your sewing machine for one of the machines that I had sold the other week, and lesson 3 was the two children that are making their own clothes. One was cutting out, the other was starting to Sew her trousers.
    I was shattered afterwards.
I used my Currys gift card ( from returning the laptop in the summer), to buy Dgd a children’s activities watch ( but like a fit bit, but you can program it for chores like tidying the bedroom etc), so that’s one of her Christmas presents and I bought a small tv for my workroom at home, I know that I will use it more if I have t v on in the background, both were delivered to work and I still have about £130 on the card.
I have managed to take lunches over the last few days, and stay out of the supermarket after work, I was going to say I had 3 no spend days but I spent £5 in the Pub after our meal as BF didn’t have any cash on him. (We hadn’t planned going out, we just took the opportunity!)
But still happy with that, especially yesterday as Dgd is always popping into the sweet Shop orvthe co-op on a Saturday, but I managed to say no! And eat lunch I had brought with us.
Biggest has decided to get out her sewing machine and shorten her dinning room curtains, so it was a FaceTime chat last night, talking her through the settings on the machine. This morning she said she finished them at 1.30 this morning!
But her next project is the front door. She wants a curtain to stop the draught.
Might make a Seamstress out of her yet!
Dgd even attempted to sew while the girls were in their lesson. Time to give her more time and lessons then.
Bf wants to redecorate his front room and recover the sofa etc, so it looks like my Sunday afternoon is going to be busy for a while.
