Could you imagine me teaching The First Lady!!!When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
I seem to have wasted the whole day working on the books and spread sheets, cash flow forecasts, and then starting to do my own cash flow figures because one thing led to another and now we are just about to go out to watch some fireworks with BFs granddaughter and daughter. Trying to remain positive and upbeat but I am not really a fireworks person or a Halloween one for that matter.
I am hoping that I don’t get too cold! My joints are still protesting after walking a lot yesterday. ( well Flaired up since last weekend really!)When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -

Definitely a hat and scarf so that there is no nasty draft down the back of my neck. Yes, another one who doesn't like the cold!Signature removed for peace of mind0 -
Unfortunately I didn’t bring all weather gear to BFs as I didn’t know we were going out, both Dgd and I had very cold feet and if I hadn’t brought my shawl we would have Bee worse. I had it wrapped around both of us when we were standing still for 30 mind of the fireworks! I felt cold all evening and actually was wishing for one of my hot flushes!
Dgd and I will raid our winter gear and now leave a selection in the back of the car for the rest of the winter!
I better wake her and get ready for the drive home. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Oh dear, Mooloo, fancy your BF not telling you what was planned! I hope neither you or DGD has caught a chill!0

I have a sore throat!
I have finished work exactly on time today because I just wasn’t in the mood. The morning was fittings straight after fittings, and then Sewing was replacement zips three in a row! I was fed up of them.
I managed to park my car right outside work this morning so no getting cold between the car and work either end of my journey. Although I need to go back out and get DGD yet.
I have hung up the wet washing and sorted the dirty into piles, whites now on. I have washed up breakfast and started to cook the pasta for tea and lunches and had a cup of tea.
There is another fireworks display here out the back of the house tonight and Dgd and her little friends want to go! One of the Mums can’t make it so I will be on duty again. But I will have Woolies this time!!
Biggest made it to work today, as managed a Babysitter but can’t manage it tomorrow. But we have achieved a bit today. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -

I always feel that I am lazy and don’t do enough! Because compared to how much I did when the kids were small and now is just cavernous!
I should apply myself more really. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
One thing you are not is lazy.

Where did the last hour go?
Well I have moved the washing on, had breakfast, and written my diary.
I had emailed the estate agent in Portugal about a house I had seen on the Internet, it appears that it is currently under offer, but I did find out that it was in a very small village with no amenities really. They asked what I was looking for, (other than my dream), and that had me thinking more about what I really want. ( not necessarily what I can currently afford, but what I would need.
So I reckon I was dreaming for half of the time I have just whizzed through.
Time to stop dreaming and get dressed. I seem to be wearing black trousers and a t shirt/blouse most days now! I think I should take a good look at my wardrobe as I usually wear dresses and colour during the summer. But wearing ankle boots seems to send me to the trouser section of my wardrobe more often than not!
Black is not good for my SAD !When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0
