I pottered this afternoon, mainly 3 minute stints in the adverts, while watching Christmas movies. I did gather a little more momentum and paused tv while I finished small tasks.
I even managed a little ironing in two sessions but the pain on my right shoulder got worse so I had to stop. BF appears to have his Dgd tonight as well as he had her during the day, so he really does step up to the plate as Grandad. He will relish the moment.
I am glad that he will have been too busy to have missed us turning up.
I was going to have a lie in in the morning but my friend needs to drop her son off with me at 7.30 as his Dad who was supposed to have him brought him home early! She needs to be in work to catch up as she has a funeral to go to.
So Dgd and I need to be up and dressed by then.
So I am off to sleep now I hope!
    Night

Considering the pain, I had a reasonable night. We got up early ready for my friends child, but they are running late and still not here.
I can still feel the problem in my back after only having done the basic morning routine. So today is going to be tough trying to Sew.
Luckily I am teaching for an hour this morning so hopefully I will find that easier.
I believe that dgs4 is much better and Biggest is able to come to work this morning.

Biggest came in today but has lost her voice. She’s not well now!
I did the lesson, fittings and a few jobs but pain slowed me down. Went to the doctor walk in clinic and waited 2 hours luckily Mum from this morning was able to collect Dgd and hang on to her because I was at the doctors from 4.15 till 6.20!
Pain killers, heat pads, oh and supposed to be resting. Have this evening, but can’t really during working hours. Doctors also put me back on hrt so should help with the hot flushes! Yeah. And possibly the weight gain.
Trying to be positive but it’s not going to be easy!
For now I am going to try to sleep.

Morning. Not the best night, slept fitfully and had a long stretch of time where I couldn’t sleep. My brain is too busy with thoughts flying in from all sorts of random places, and I tried to take control and I then ended up in fitful dreams.
Wondering if that’s to do with the medication or not?

So today, what is going to happen? I will have to go to work of course, but I am hoping to do the smaller jobs today, and let the Seamstress start on the biggest ones. I hope Biggest is well enough to come in. If she does then I want to focus her on advertising the books, Patterns, Fat Quarters, and other notions we have.
I need the awareness of what we have to spread, so Facebook m, Pinterest and instagram, even Twitter, if she can sort some of that out. Raising the profile and sales of the additional services we have is probably the only way we can increase our income. As I am only able to make a certain amount Sewing and we all know it pays the overheads just, but not a living wage for me. That’s my goal for 2018!
Time to get up and get Dgd to school.

Mooloo is there a sound that you find soothing? The sound of the sea or a storm? I found lots of soothing sounds and music on youtube and I set up my tablet and earphones so I can sleep with one of the sounds playing. It really does help. Same with needing to rest and calm down in the day.

Certainly worth giving it a go. Sometimes I listen to my hypnosis tape, but of course it wakes you up at the count of 10 at the end and sometimes it wakes me and others it doesn’t.
I am home early. Well I shut at 4pm as usual but didn’t stay on to do extra work as the pain level is too much. I had two tramadol at 8am, 2 at around 12noon and a heat patch, but they didn’t last long, I have just taken two more, Made a cup of tea and put my feet up. I am trying to rest now for the rest of the evening. I am just cooking a chilli mince and rice, as Dgd is at her friends for tea.
Ideal normally for working late! Oh well.

Pain killers finally taken the edge off of the pain.
Just waiting for friend to bring Dgd Home and then I will be going to bed early.
Tomorrow I am taking Mum to the opticians, and then at 3 I am collecting dgs4 for Biggest before I get Dgd, as Biggest is going to a recording for Children in Need. So I will have a little lad to entertain for a few hours. The kids rarely come to my house so this could be interesting!

I had a slightly better night last night, thankfully. I pottered for an hour after the school run, then did a small Food Shop, and then to Mums to take her to the opticians. Pleased to say that she doesn’t need new glasses. Then we went to lunch at the pub dS works in. ( he wasn’t there today). Left him a slow cooker and washing powder.
Then back to collect dgs4, and then Dgd.
Biggests Husband came to pick him up about an hour ago.
I fed the kids around 5 but I haven’t done mine yet. Waiting for Bf to come over then I will do a stir fry that came in my Muscle Food delivery.
I am already in my pjs though as bra was hurting my back. Dgd said my back was red, and rubbed some antiseptic cream in to the red. I presume that it’s a reaction to the sticking heat pads I had tried yesterday.
I am hoping that my pain will be less soon. It’s been about a week now.

Hopefully we will have a good day today.
Sleep was a little erratic but at least I went back to sleep quickly each time.
My focus today must be on tackling the oldest work, one coat is still waiting for the toggles to arrive and we have had it a month. I have contacted the customer to explain the toggles are on order. I will have to chase the toggles again. I worry about jobs that are waiting notions, as it sets my adverage time over the normal week.
I am going to have to push through the pain barrier and just keep working as the shelves are full of work again.
Getting them done and the money in asap is necessary for me to pay the bills. We have managed to get out of the overdraft today, but we will need to dip in again by the end of the month, but not looking as bleak as it felt last month.
Biggest is designing the Christmas window at the moment, I am loving her ideas and I just hope we can carry it off.
On the Home front I am just plodding along, and will worry about it later, Home time is going to be rest time.

Slightly better day yesterday, and although I was slow I did manage to do quite a few jobs. Not as much as I can do but made a dent in the list. Think Biggest will be surprised as nobody came into the shop after she left around 3pm and I could just get on. Normally I am up and down stairs like a yo-yo. I had decided to do small jobs by then expecting interruptions so did quite a few of them. I worked until 5.30
Collected dgd from after school club, and then went home. BF arrived before me. We made dinner together, he actually volunteered to do the rice, while I made the curry, (probably because I am rubbish at cooking rice!). He also helped me with applying the heat pads to my back, and joked that my hrt patches were getting bigger!
Neither of us slept very well, both of us seem to have a lot on our minds at the moment. His daughter’s car is going for an MOT, he’s taking it this afternoon, and he’s worried about it passing or not. I suggested doing a pre-MOT first, although I am not sure if garages still do that. I used to do that when I had old cars. (Very old cars).
The pain killers are making a difference at night, along with rest, but of course I cannot rest in the day.
