Would it be worth checking the council tax/water and any other bills he had in his name just in case?

It might also be worth getting his credit report to make sure she hasn't done anything else in his name.

Also does he know for sure that Tax Credits are not paying as a couple still, I have met a few people through work who split from a lady who had her own children and they honestly had no clue how Tax Credits worked and it wasn't until it all came to light and they were sent overpayment letters did they realise the onus was also on them to inform HMRC of a split.

    Hi EE,
I have screenshot your post and sent it to Biggest, as she is the one that helps DS as he does not like dealing with people due to his dyslexia etc.
He really needs some good vibes these days!!

I didn’t go to BFs this weekend and so glad. I am not in the best frame of mind, however Dgd and I have been busy blitzing her Bedroom. 3 1/2 hours!! Then I did lunch, and since lunch I did the washing x3 lots, got two lots hanging in the bathroom.
Vacuumed the stairs, front room, and started to clear the clutter here in the front room.
Sat down now to catch up on F1 recorded earlier.
Feet up and cup of tea, just waiting for a message that I can go and collect a bedside table for DS. Wish she would hurry up, so I can get back home and not need to go out to the cold again.
BF is coming here later, leaving his car with his daughter and getting a car to collect him for the Airport from here Tomorrow.
I still want to change the sheets in my room but Dgd is currently on Netflix in there so I will hang on a bit longer.
When I get back I have the PAYE to do, and some accounts work.
If I am not too tired. ( problem is now I have sat down all the aches and pains are letting me know that they are there!)

  • How can he be chased for a debt not owed by him? If he really did inform EDF in March surely it's a simple phone call to say it's not been his account in over 7 months?

We are contacting them again today to begin a dispute.

So, I am starting the day with positive intentions and a game plan to try and succeed at my highest level as I am teaching today and then have a full on week with alterations.
I have swapped my chair from one from the top floor until I can buy a more comfortable replacement.
The Christmas window was finished last week. And so now it’s time to pump up the sale of machines etc.
I would like to sell at least two this week.

On the Home front I intend to do another room each day until I am satisfied with the house again.

Ooh, good luck with the machine sales Mooloo . And the "one room at a time" plan at home sounds excellent. I would do the same thing if the house wasn't full of "stuff" my OH finds it too difficult to part with!x

It might be worth doing a "credit check" on DS and his address...find out what she might have put in his name :-(
