Savvy Shopper! I've been Money Tipped!
    Hey All

Stressful day. But still here :)

    Grateful for:

    1. An issue with the plumbing at the business being solved by Mr Bob after I nearly had a nervous breakdown this morning. He really is a total gem and I'd be lost without him.

    2. Time with my family. Since giving up an activity on Saturday, we are getting a whole morning we wouldn't have before. Although today's morning wasn't fun. We were together.

    3. My morning cycle, good for me and free transport.

    Bob

Today I am grateful for not getting too wet in the rain, for dd + friend having a great time out and about, for both dh and I being able to make something for the girls that they liked, for my knitting, for a warm house.

  • Hi everyone :hello:
Another spendy day for me today - I did some grocery shopping. Stuck to the list apart from a couple of brilliant YS bargains and didn't get tempted with any sale 'bargains'.
    I am grateful for:
My lovely bestie having ds over to stay tonight
    My tutoring job
Having the cats to snuggle with
Pleased to see lots of positive things happening on here - I love everyone's daily gratitudes.

Back to eating healthier again. No alcohol or naughty snacks. Weighed myself and I have lost two pounds since the beginning of the month so last week's lapse wasn't quite as bad as I thought.
    Today I am grateful for
Doing nothing but watch TV. Very bad of me.
Being warm as it was freezing outside
Spending some time talking to my son
Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.

Got a few basics today - fruit, veg, bread and milk. Shouldn't have to go a proper shop this week as there's still plenty of food in the flat.

I signed myself up for a 10k in April so that gives me time to train. I'm planning to take my running gear with me to work tomorrow and will run home after work if it's not too icy.

Today I'm grateful for the yummy YS steak dinner OH cooked, not slipping on the ice on the way home and a good shift at work.

A lovely quiet day. A NSD. Snowed late last night (had to check if it was snow or frost) but it melted again. Very cold though sunny so may be more on the way.

Today I am grateful for heating at the church, for films on utube (lots of 'art' films from the late 70s and a lot of gritty British dramas from the 30s - 60s and for leftovers (my pills are out of sync ao I keep having half meals as I am supposed to eat with my regular pills and with the antibiotics and I do not need to eat 5 meals a day).
My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.

Good luck with the job saveforabetterlife. I always try to go in with the mentality that if they want to interview you then you are good enough for the job so be confident.

Today was a spend day on food. Walked the dogs but not much else achieved as just felt a bit grumpy. Hopefully tomorrow will be better.
