Morning everyone,
Managed a NSD yesterday thanks to my gran cooking me dinner, and boy it was good.
Today however won't be as I need to get some things in for dinner. Similarly, I doubt tomorrow will be. We'll see.0 -
Morning all, popped out first thing this morning as we needed eggs. I'm making chicken kievs for tea so need the eggwash. Forgot to get the chicken out the freezer last night, so hopefully they will defrost in time!
So a spend day already, but only to the tune of 89p.
The neighbour stopped me on the way home to asked me how Duncan is, which I thought was nice.
Then I enjoyed a nice sausage omlette for breakfast, whizzed the vaccum round quickly, and now I'm snuggled back in bed away from the cold with the pup.
I need to meal plan for the week ahead, then work later.
Have a good day everyone

If you've got the snow I hope you are staying safe. I had a lovely trip out on the street DS's school is on which was a complete sheet of ice filled with double parked cars, primary school children, cars going up and cars coming down. I was only in the car because I had DD to school first and it had taken an age to get back and DS was going to be late.
May fill my car up with gas tonight if the weather is not too bad otherwise that will wait till the weekend.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Ouch. Definitely not a NSD. A bit of skidding on the way to the gym, and one car that didn't survive last night on the open moor, so popped into Kwik Fit. I knew my front tyres were near legal limit, so decided to order some winter tyres. They actually had them in in my size and could fit them then and there. Rather safe than sorry.
Most of it was already set aside as I squirrel for car maintenance, but emergency fund has taken a bit of a hit. That's what it's there for I suppose.Goals - Weight loss 6/26lb at 22nd Jan 18Mmmm. 26lb at 1/7/18. Oops:o0 -

So glad its Friday, another terrible nights sleep last night.
Popped back out to lidls yesterday for washing up liquid and few bits. Got hailed upon when I came out - ouch it hurts. Thought I might as well make use of my spendy day.
Today a SFD as like rest of the year so far will be staying in and collapsing in a heap from the never ending cough/cold.
Happy because
8/15 SFD
Not sure why but I like 13th but things are going well in work today.

Not NSD today - had to walk the kids to school (40 mins) because of the weather/ traffic so went to Tesc0 as well as we were low on red milk for my cups of tea and veg for the guinea pigs (eating masses at the mo where it's colder) Also got bacon & sausages for the weekend
Lunch was afternoon tea out - Xmas present from my aunt - very nice. Totally stuffed as a result and may just have a piece of toast if I am hungry later. Easy Fri night dinner of fishfingers for the smallies - so tired at the mo, am not sleeping well at all.
Paid the N*xt bill off last night, due to some expenses OH received - yeay! Nice to see that gone (was very short term debt - paid no interest, but was a significant figure as at last month) Am waiting for forms for Tax Credits - they stopped our payments when I was late sending my review back last year (tried to complete it online - wouldn't let me login even with correct details, tried to do it by phone - phone numbers wouldn't work from America, tried to complete it by online chat - chat froze half way through) - by the time we got back from holiday I had missed the deadline (had been crazy with 2 x paid work, 2 voluntary roles and an unexpected death in the run up to holiday, hence not doing it before) - phoned end of last year and they said we qualified again and I should expect something. Nothing received 6 weeks later so I phoned - to be told they cant do that over the phone so wouldn't have said that and they'd send me some forms..... grrrr... I really hate tax credits!!
Today I am grateful for:
* good walking boots for all of us for the yomp up the canal path this morning (paths/ roads uphill and too slippy) - very pretty and bonus unexpected exercise
* good company this afternoon - good family
**** OH getting a job (starts next Weds) - after the last contract ended 31st Jan last year!! (Downside is it means staying away Mon-Fri)
Celebratory takeaway tomorrow as a result!
