Today I am grateful for yesterday being such a great day because today has been crap. I've spent most of it in bed so at least a complete NSD.

Grateful also for a flexible meal plan, a fully stocked freezer and a nice boss who is happy for me to switch my work days around. So dinner tonight is easy freezer burgers and chips, I'm not working tomorrow and dinner from tonight will be tomorrow when I have time and inclination to cook.

Tonight I am going to do bare minimum now I have got up. Washing machine, dishwasher and washing up, prep lunches for tomorrow. Hoover up all the pine needles from taking down the tree.

    Enjoy your Sunday evening people.

Felt 'meh' most of the day - moody for no real reason (well, not enough for how moody I've been and how long I've been moody) And the bleeping wm has packed up again - less than 2 years old (cost £978!) and we've had an engineer out about 5x for issues already - grr. First thing tomorrow I shall be back onto them... :( Thankfully all uniform washing done except 1 pair of trousers (won't be needed until Weds) which I've handwashed. Already have over another full load waiting to do - and had planned to strip 2 beds today, so they can now wait!!

    Today I am grateful for:
    * easy food
    * Sherlock on the tv later :)
    * kisses for no reason from my youngest :)

    Hey everyone!

    Today I am grateful for:
    I) Dogs and cats! The cat I live with and the dogs in the park.
ii) Having some lovely places to walk in that are nearby
iii) Supermarkets - how lucky are we to have comvenience stores?

So a nice day - walk in the park with a friend and his dogs. Coffee and a chat, and finished my shop ( so a spend day here). Batch cooked a few meals for the week... Watched some TV... so why do I feel so grumpy and out of sorts? I have no idea. Must be something in the air, huh Greent?

Going to try for a run of NSDs this coming week. Off for my meditation to see if I can lift this little cloud over my head hehe

NSD #5. Stayed in all day. Feeling mellow (no stress mantra is helping).

I have tackled the washing up mountain (still a bit left), cooked 10 jacket potatoes (on one oven shelf) and a whole pack of frozen sausages (will be cling filmed in twos and threes and heated in the microwave when I want them. DS3 loves Beloved's spag bol but is proving resistant to other things (she had forgotten it was Sunday, shops had shut and there was no mince). Apparently he won't eat bacon, tuna or sausages (used to be his favourite and he eats my bacon soup). I apologised but I did try with him - there are several things I used to cook for him which he subsequently went off. Found something to give him in the freezer - curry on pasta.

Ankle ached when I went down for breakfast so it's strapped up firmly and I have been resting. There is lots of filing to do and I can feel a marathon sewing session coming on, so lots I can be getting on with.

Today I am grateful for being able to stay in, in the warm (grey and foggy first thing, grey and wet later), for getting through lotas of washing (think we did 7 loads last week and have brought in a duvet cover that was on the line, last thing to need drying - over the radiator and airer like a tent) and for my bath and washing my hair sitting down.
My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.

    Hi folks

Rest afternoon couch potato watching corny films and eating tomato soup. Still chesty and burning up. Never stay in all day but damp misty out. Glad to see Queen better hope for us all to recover from this horrid bug.

I am still on 3 NSDs as we had to do a top up shop at Mr S as I had forgotten to order enough sandwich chicken for the meal plan DH has been set by our trainer and I needed a bottle of whisky to complete DSDad birthday present.

I have prepped 42 meals for DH and 8 for me this afternoon/evening and cooked sunday dinner which should feed us until Thursday (the meals not the sunday dinner) but I am sooooooo tired now.

    Today I am grateful for:

    1) DS been made team captain after playing for only 3 months
    2) The fridge - to store all the meals I've cooked in
    3) DH doing a mountain of ironing (yesterday) and filling my washers up today
    4) DS doing his homework and reading practice without moaning for once

Mananged a NSD today, which is good as we need to head into town tomorrow. I have sorted out the pet insurance and tidied the understairs cupboards, which was a junk pile of empty boxes and rubbish we just threw in to get out of sight.

    25 NSDs - 04/25 - Woohoo finally another NSD.

    January's rules:
    Food budget. £50.48/£120
Things I am grateful for today:
    1) Tackling the understairs cupboards, I'm happier its all tidy.
    2) A couple of really unexpectedly delishous satsumas.
    3) Puppy has had no accidents today.
