25 NSDs - 03/25 - Today will be a NSD. I only plan on leaving the house for a run, as my bestie is coming round for birthday celebrations. We're going to try and work out how to play the Game of Thrones card game.
Donate to a charity. I need to pop out tomorrow to the butchers so will be dropping off my blankets then.
Pay to your debt or savings first. Payslip arrived. I worked out that I should be able to pay off my credit card and my holiday balance this month, pending anything unexpected.

    January's rules:
    Food budget. £0/£120
Things I am grateful for today:
    1) My bad memory - every month I forget my banks £5 reward payment. Surprise fiver!
    2) Lost 0.8lbs this week. Not much, but a start in the right direction.
    3) Supportive BF - BF was upset he couldn't afford a 'proper' birthday present for me. Instead his gift was a promise to pay all entry fees for all my races over the year, and a handmade progress booklet so I can chart my successes throughout the year.

    2017 aims:
    1) Lose Weight - 0.8/58 lbs
    2) House hunting. Step one - Save!

    Cheap/free family & friends events.
Birthday visit from my bestie today, as well as our usual Thursday meet up tomorrow.

  • NSD today 2/15 yay! (Bought petrol but that's covered in my budget so not counting it).
Still feeling exhausted and sinuses really painful today.
Made a marble cake this morning. Not sure what's for tea but it's using up stock! Maybe wraps. Seen a nice recipe for sweet potato, courgette and chick pea burgers so may do those maybe. So much to use up don't know where to start!
Added some more unwanted gifts to charity bag.
Day 4 of sugar free/Dry January and drunk water today.
Grateful for my beautiful children, my husband and my lovely house.

    Afternoon everyone :)

    Today I am grateful for:
    i) The beautiful house that I am fortunate to rent a room in
ii) The rolling countryside and walks close by
iii) The little cat that lives here and keeps me company

Had a great day off today. Really relaxing. I got my 'Nature Walk' in for the week as it was lovely and sunny, and have signed up to a few more challenges for this year : 365 Day 1p a Day Challenge, and I'm going to try and stash away a £1 a day. I have a few online accounts sitting spare so may as well use them.

    Today = NSD number 4

Though one of my allowed 'spend days' I opted to use stuff I already had in. Milk should last me until Saturday if I use some of the 1000s of herbal teas I have in lol.

I'm also keeping a record of all my spends by category this year, so I can see exactly where my wages go... An exercise in curiosity!

That's all for me. Off for my daily meditation (not mediation Fmess haha) later... time now to chill out

Not doing very well with NSDs- only one so far. Using freezer for meals but am having a run of things breaking down and having to buy parts to mend them. Today it was a cleaning disk for the DVD player. Hopefully things will improve as the month goes on.

Still doing well with the no alcohol, sugar etc. Had more home made soup for lunch and we are having a chicken casserole from the freezer served with some of the mountain of cheap vegetables we bought from Aldi last week.

    Today I'm grateful for:

    Another beautiful cold day.
A walk in the park to keep the exercise going.
The neighbourhood children for making me laugh.
    .
Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.

Did my 5 circuits of the car park today. Had to drag myself outside, very slow walking and it was starting to get busy so a bit embarrassing but stuck with it. Did a small walk to the library (food bank donation made) and to little Arseda where I spent £12.65, mostly things on the list, some ys but mostly little reductions. Only real bargain was wraps (wholemeal and with added pulses, reduced to 10p a pack - hope they are edible.

Did the bus hop to crafts and back, ankle is making funny sounds, will strap it up for a few days. Low attendance at crafts so very peaceful. Relaxing now as I am very tired.

Today I am grateful for being able to get the things on my shopping list, for peaceful crafting and for perseverance.
My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.

OH went to the shops whilst I was at work today (I stayed on for an extra 2.5hours) and bought more stuff than was on the list (again...)

    Today I am grateful for
    * the lovely student I was scribing for
    * not having to scrape the ice off my car first thing - an unexpectedly non-frosty morning :)
    * fitting the Xmas tree (chopped up) into the green garden waste bin so that it doesn't have to hang around for another fortnight (collection is tomorrow) :D

    Good evening.
    After 3 NSD,I had a spend today.
Mr.T. delivery. Was very good and only got healthy stuff,no treats.
Total was £45.41 !!!!!! that included enough meat/fish for a couple of weeks, lots of fruit and veg and 10lts of uht milk. Save me having to pop out just for milk and come back with lots of things.

Was browsing on e-bay,but logged off before I was tempted too much :D
Nothing else to report >pretty boring here.:rotfl:
